I assumed Laurel lost some weight cause she was working out to become Black Canary. Not sure if that still happens now though.

I don't know which show wins, as far as the hottest women on TV go. Mad Men's up there, due to the Christina Hendricks/January Jones one-two punch (plus Megan), but Arrow's got it in terms of sheer volume. Beautiful women are legion on that show. Even Ollie's mom's hot. Plus, Felicity Smoake.

I don't think I could buy Laurel as Black Canary. Ollie and Sara had to go through hell to gain their skills. they'd have to come up with a damn convincing storyline to put her at their level.

I think thats why they scrapped using her as BC. Its obvious in the early episodes of season 1 thats where they were going, remember when Oliver actually commented on how well she fought and she replied that her dad taught her how to fight, not to mention all the hints, working at CNRY, wearing fishnets for Halloween, etc..etc.., they've backed off all that and she is pure victim material at this point.

Someone must have come to their senses in the writing department and convinced them that "daddy's training" wasn't enough to pull off a superhero.

the return of Malcolm coming, but I'm more than happy to have John Barrowman back. I did think (once it was revealed that Malcolm and Mrs. Queen had the affair) that Thea was probably his daughter. A bit soapy, but should be fun to play with.

Agreed! I was totally shocked at the end of the episode. All the complications that will arise from

and how it affects Oliver will be very interesting.

I just hope the guy playing Barry is a better actor than that clip would lead one to believe, because he delivers those lines like a robot.

I always thought Vertigo sucked ***; glad to see him dead, and I sincerely hope he stays that way. Also, I'm guessing the contents of that Submarine will get Slade one step closer to being like his comic book counterpart? I still hope we get to see him enter full-blown Deathstroke mode.

Vertigo was a poor man's Joker who brought a few things to mind:

- Goofy hammed up Caesar Romero style performance.
- Devised massive public exposure to harmful chemical agents (less lethal).
- Dead after fall from a tall building (plus arrows).

I don't want them to get rid of Laurel, but I agree that she looks terrible this season. Someone give that girl a cheeseburger.

Yeah, I'm not one to bash actors & actresses looks but she's so weird looking this season it's actually distracting from the show.

I still think she's beautiful, but she has lost too much weight. Hopefully she gains some much needed lbs this holiday season.
