I'm so excited to see the Trickster episode, but all of these cameos have me thinking about how awesome it would be if they did a revival of the '90s TV show in the vein of " The Flash of Two Worlds," and/or "Flashpoint." Could you imagine Gustin's Barry confusing Shipp's Barry for Henry, seeing Tina McGee and Julio and wondering how different circumstances brought these strangers from his world together (that would require them to get Julio back), or, perhaps, if they could get Hamill back again, you could even have the two Flashes bonding over the weirdness of the same guy being the same Trickster in two different universes. I'm going to be disappointed, if that doesn't happen, as I would love to see that Stan Winston suit one last time.

That's why wish Shipp wasn't playing the role of Barry's dad.

They should've had Shipp play Jay Garrett or Garrick can't remember the right last name..
the Golden Age Flash

There's something that I don't get and I'm still confused.

If Wells is Reverse Flash how was he able to have the RF break into Star labs get trapped and then have Wells speaking to him face to face with everyone around both of them.

I get he could've used super speed to look like Wells was getting his butt kicked from RF. But how did he do my first theory

I think the point was to leave that for theories.

My theory:
I think the whole time travel is important, I think something happens where essentially Wells loses his ability as the Reverse Flash. Essentially it catalyzes an new event to occur. I think Thawne becomes Reverse Flash and is angered of this like a curse. I can only assume Iris and Eddie don't make it through and Thawne hates Barry for it. He goes back in time to defeat Barry and he sees Wells. Knowing it's his fault that Barry is the Flash and he becomes a curse of Reverse Flash; he takes it out on him. My whole theory is based as to why Reverse Flash doesn't hurt Eddie. Or as per the comics; it's an ancestor of Eddie.

I was hoping...
they'd vice-versa'd Barry and Bart Allen and twisted it so that Gustin was really playing the son of the original Flash and the accident only awakened his inherited powers. Having Shipp as the original Flash Bart now Henry Allen
.... makes sense considering how characters from the 1990's show are turning up and being played by the original actors.

They haven't mentioned any, and they shouldn't since they don't know much about him in the show yet.

I reckon it's because of the negative speed force.

I do hope we get a little more of Wells' story and WHY he's doing what he's doing. It's a bit confusing as to why and I hope it's more than just "we're both speedsters so have to be enemies".

That preview was amazing, and aaaaahh! So much '90s Flash goodness! I just...I should be appreciative of the fact that they're doing all that, but now I can't get how awesome a "Flash of Two Worlds" crossover would be. Just imagine it:

"Your name is Henry Allen, and I'm your son, Barry."

"Henry Allen was my father, and, unless I'm missing something, you're not Barry Allen."

"Why?"

"Because that's my name."

Dr. Tina McGee-Allen! More Julio! More Stan Winston-designed muscular goodness (or something different that evokes the same feeling)! I mean, it'd be, at least, somewhat easy to do, since they've already established that versions of these people exist in the new Flash Universe, so just say that they followed different paths in this alternate universe. Instead of making Shipp Garrick, just have him reprise his role as the Barry Allen Flash of the '90s.

Of course, this is pretty much just fan fiction in my mind, since they'd never alienate a large segment of their audience by setting an episode within the universe of a 25-year old TV series that only lasted a season...or would they? Nah, I think the homages are the best we'll get, which are still amazing, but a guy can dream, right?:lol
