The sculptor's unpainted head...I still don't get how Sideshow approved this head for production.

It will. This ain't Spiderman comiquette. Even Spiderman comiquette Ex was available again after sold out, briefly. If the Reg is still available, its a good sign that the Ex will be too.

I really want to see how often these NRD statue convert. I expect them to convert, but I don't think they'll convert as easy or for as many like in time past.

Considering that this is the first standalone Cyclops statue Sideshow has made there won't be many conversions.

I agree. While the EX head may look like the Antonio Banderas doll from South Park, but the rest of the statue is perfect and Cyclops is a very popular character.

Yeah, I agree. It seems everytime I see a Tony C sculpt, I usually don't like the faces. Namor, Surfer, Abom, and this statue as well. I was suprised that the Gambit portraits came out so good. Tony just nailed those.

Yeah, Gambit turned out awesome. Abom and Surfer were not bad to me tho' it was Surfer's pose that seemed a little weird. Namor's head is cool you can put stuff on it.......

The Abom looked to much like a gremlin to me. Surfer's foreheads were too high and I didn't really dig any of the facial expressions. I liked the pose on Surfer. I thought it was unique. I also forgot to mention the Bucky Cap unmasked portrait. Yuck!

What exactly did you put on the Namor comiquette to save that face?

Oh well, Tony is a great sculptor. As I said before, his Gambit is out of this world good. Not liking his face portraits could just be a sticking point for me. His pieces do sell out eventually, so he must be doing something right.

I didn't really save the face, but it's nice and flat so you could put stuff on it : P

Good Luck, I guess its usually better to get em early but I wouldnt jump on it unless you really like the ex head.

I love collecting EX Art print cool ... The hand carrying the sun glass... Cool also ... The head well he reminds me of Akuma ...

Strange, I like this Cyclops PF Ex more than the Bucky Capt PF EX or Reg. Never got into the Bucky char anyway....seems plain to me.
