Danbury Mint LOTR The Fellowship of the Ring Statues from the mid nineties( Pre-Jackson films)....I always liked many of the Pre-Jackson film pieces that had come out...I will photo more pre-jackson items/art...If anyone else has any of the good ole days stuff please if you can photo em...a ton of LOTR art was done way before Jackson films...I almost feel like they are forgotten sometimes...Gandalf is over 10 inches about 1/7 to 1/8 scale

Cant say I've seen those before. They remind me of the bakshi lotr cartoons. So it's cool to see items from that.

lol fun stuff....

that balrog looks like it's about to tip over with 1/3 of the base outside, you guys are crazy.

The Hobbit Comic book which came out in 1989 as a three part series, also now available as a TPB... I've shown a sample page...It is one of those when I read it back then I thought was word for word from the novel..It is not but it's close with of course great visuals

danbury actually made another set for LOTR of 25 figures; they are pretty cool and unique!
