Just finished the final episode after binge watching the last few nights.

Wow, this and Captain America: The Winter Soldier are literally the coolest things in the MCU in my opinion. Actually, this and TWS are the coolest live-action comic stories I've ever seen.

Absolutely amazing.

Trippy how some scenes are straight from Miller's Man Without Fear, shot for shot.

This scene anyone? At the end of the episode "Stick"

Netflix has ruined me. Could never go back to waiting a week betwern eps on stoneage tv.p

Yea, It feels good being able to watch shows on our own time. Specially since they started cutting the number of episodes per season and worst yet spliting those already short seasons into 2 parts. They sure picked up some disgusting habits. I missed when a show would have 20+ episodes and a season went on uninterrupted.

Netflix is king right now. Most of their shows are of extremely high quality, and even the not so good ones (like Hemlock Groove) have a following.

I want to make a costume of the black outfit from the TV series. Most looks like it could be purchased at your typical retail stores and army surplus....with the exception of the shirt (having red stitching).

Does anyone know if any company is making this costume set? Or could you point me to a well recommended cosplay forum where members may be making this?

Thanks in advance!

Just finished watching these last night. Overall I was very impressed, but there were some issues I had here and there. I just hope his costume continues to evolve. It's ok but I think it could be done much better...

The buildup to

Daredevil's final confrontation with Wilson Fisk
was just so damn amazing. Normally that occurs 90 minutes into the first feature film about a superhero.

Normally you get

the origin spelled out and then move right into the final fight between good guy and bad guy.

But a 13 hour buildup of setting the stage, arranging the characters, fleshing everyone out? Incredible!

And then Murdoch

defeats Fisk as BOTH his secret identity alter ego lawyer AND as a costumed vigilante?

Freaking, freaking EPIC pay off.

There's a couple nitpicks I could make about the show (Fisk's "better tomorrow" for NYC basically feels like an urban street level version of Alexander Pierce and his corrupt SHIELD organization, I'm not 100% sure on where I stand on DD's finished costume, and the show really seemed to wear its "Batman Begins" homages on its sleeve) but damn, they really are minor. The show was just done so, so well. It's been about 20 years since I read that Frank Miller "Man Without Fear" miniseries but for so much of this series I felt like I was watching what I remember of that comic come to life on screen.

Can't wait to see where they go from here. Elektra, Bullseye, a possible Civil War team-up with Cap???

Well Potter said it wasn't finished yet so we could see a new costume in Defenders!

That six minute "one take" fight he has with the Russians in the hallway at the end of Episode 2 might still be the highlight of the series for me. That really put him on the map.

I really hope he appears in one of the movies, or gets his own (as long as they don't sanitize the subject matter.)

Re: Daredevil the Netflix

Loved it until the very end.
Th
e suit is meh, the way they film the suit is meh (the actor looks embarrased when it Come to take an iconic pose).
Worst of all the final fight is meh credible.
The alley set was cheap.
The fight was not any important than all the previous fights WE ve seen.
It was probably the laziest.
Fisk is presented a a violent force of nature and eh get a beat down like every stunt man WE ve seen before...
Dissapointing end to a very cool show.

I like D'Onofrio's take on Kingpin, but he was always very clinical and precise in the comics when it came to his plans and decisions. He's never been given much to impulse, he is such a calculating person. This version is driven to a great degree by impulse, or rather a lack of impulse control. But I guess it's early still for him and this is just a stage in his development.
