I thought JJ was fantastic. Certainly up there with Daredevil.
No way. Jessica Jones was probably better than Daredevil overall. Terrific character, and supporting characters in that one. Possibly the most disturbing live action Marvel villain yet.
It's not bad, it's just not Daredevil.Crap, I was trying to convince myself I didn't need to watch it, now I need to.
I'm guessing your an Ennis fanboy.[emoji38]I hope they get even more daring like they did in the first season by killing off Ben Ulrich (Basically Daredevil's Jim Gordon). I think they should have Jar-Jar Foggy Binks killed off in the first episode. Heck, half-way through the season, I wouldn't mind if they killed of Daredevil and, and have the show's credits change to Punisher Season 1. Have Punisher fight Bullseye and let Elektra be his girl. Stick's right. Matt's just a big whiner, so Elektra will probably be glad.

I've read Frank Miller's Daredevil, Kevin Smith's Daredevil, Jeph Loeb's Daredevil, Brian Michael Bendis' Daredevil, Ed Brubaker's Daredevil, Mark Waid's Daredevil, Stan Lee's Daredevil, and various others.
I only recently read some Ennis Punisher. Daredevil was my favorite Marvel character, and now all I care about is Punisher!
I used to be a fan of a bunch of DC characters too, but I've been working why way through Grant Morrison's Batman again (now that I can understand it), and it's making me loose interest in the rest of DC. Batman was always my favorite DC character, but now that I see that he can basically do everything, who needs anyone else?
I'm not much of a DC guy, hell, I'm only a "Marvel guy" due to emotional attachment to the characters, but if I had to pick 2 folks from DC that I'd absolutely look into if I hadn't already done, those'd be Midnighter and Constantine. Midnighter's current series is fantastic, and even though it's getting the axe with REBIRTH (meanwhile, Superman gets like, 5 spin-offs, yawn...), Shelley said that he'll appear in another book (maybe Suicide Squad?). Plus, JonCon's getting a new solo, called "Hellblazer" around July I think.
Thanks the recommendation. With Batman, I have Justice League, Justice League International, Robin, Red Robin, Huntress, Oracle, Young Justice, Nightwing, Bat-wing, Batman International, Black Bat, Bat-woman, Batgirl, GCPD, the Outsiders, etc. I consider all those under Batman, so I have multiple life-times of stuff to read. I'm also a Wally West Flash, Dragon Ball, Simpsons, Lord of the Rings, and now Darth Vader fan, so I think I already have too many geek vices!
I made a pact with myself when I started collecting that all I'd ever spend on games, comics, figures, and movies was $500. In order to get more money, I have to sell the things I bought with that money, so it keeps me in check! Thankfully, I can order a bunch of comics from various libraries where I live in Michigan, so I don't have to pay for comics or books! Well, technically, I do pay since I pay for the library. Plus, Marvel Unlimited is helpful!
Whew, that's a lot. Just pray you never find your way towards those sites. Temptation will get the better of you and, well... Personally I've gone a bit overboard with my pull list the last few months, but that's got more to do with my LCS being a PITA. They aren't cooperative at all, they mess up my subs and they don't even "let" me change things once a month. It's frustrating, but it's the only LCS in Greece that offers subscription plans, so, yeah...
My plan is to not contact them for 2 months or so and then make some radical changes around May or so. Mainly drop the majority of Marvel, keep one or two DC books (Constantine and whatever Midnighter will be appearing in, maybe Earth 2 if it's classic JSA) and fill the rest with Image and Valiant (I'm pulling Ninjak and Bloodshot already, but I'm thinking of adding Rai and Eternal Warrior).
In a way, I've stopped gaming and my toy collecting has take a back seat, so I'm mostly "investing" in my comic book collection. The Mezco 1:12 Figs are the most I've been excited for a toy-line in a long time...
No, I won't, man. I barely look at Youtube anymore because I'm scared that I'll violate copy-right. I used to be very scrupulous and I would run to Confession all the time because I was scared that I was stealing something. I figured until I got over my OCD, it was just best avoid it all together.
That's smart to keep your collection focused! Well, darthkostis, I got pturtle for my movie guy, and now I have you as my comic book guy! If it's alright, I'm going to depend on you to direct me in what's good! Now that I'm reading Morrison's Batman where Bruce finally has grown up and gotten over his anger and became such a symbolic character, I don't think I'll want to go back to old stuff anyways, so maybe I'll get check out Hellblazer! There's also that Nick Fury that you recommended to me though, which sounded awesome. What a hard life we live, with all this great stuff!
I think I'm done with gaming too. I saw the Ninja Turtle game, and I was excited at first, but I don't have the time or money to get in games anymore. I think Metal Gear Solid V was my last hurrah, and I sold that pretty quickly after I bought it. I had a total blast with it though.
Well, considering not even our "cable" (if you can call it that) here brings these shows, I'm sorta "forced" to go there. Well, not really, but you get my point...It's rue though, there are far too many books out there that you "need" to read. Even if money is not a problem, time sure is. And that's the main reason why I'm not gaming anymore. Too much hassle involved in the whole thing and the last few years I wasn't enjoying it. I bought Fallout 4 on the day of release, but I got bored of it after 2 weeks or so. It's just not my cup of tea anymore, you know? I'm mostly into comics at the time being, and I'm thinking of focusing mostly on indies. The Big 2 have become far too repetitive for me, with a few exceptions of course.
