Received mine a few minutes ago. Quick first impressions: For what it is, it's serviceable. The heads are a little soft, detail-wise, but that has more to do with the slightly translucent plastic used. However, you can still see their potential (granted, the source Buffy sculpt is an excellent "jumping off point" 😉). The trenchcoat is the best mass-produced (non custom run) iteration thus far. The shirt is okay, but not as good as the coat. I won't be using it anyways. The sport coat is detailed well overall but misses the mark only due to it not being the right material/texture; its still the better mass released version out there (compared to the other knock offs/bootlegs released over the last 20 years). It will benefit with some padding in the shoulders like the real one had. Pants are fine, nothing special. That's all for now, haven't looked too much yet.

For those with a talent with repainting, these heads could really shine. As noted previously, how they're displayed, lit and photographed will greatly affect how good the stock heads appear.

Looks great. Is that pattern sewn to the collar or just glued in place?
The re-sewn side is the right side showing closer placement to the front edge of the collar. The other side is how one receives the figure--the pattern is sewn on in both instances and requires the use of a seam ripper to remove the stitching -which then needs to be re-sewn (using invisible - nylon thread) very time consuming work suffice to say.

Just got mine as well (Thanks Kit!)
As others have said, it's pretty solid, if not amazing. I probably won't end up changing anything, aside from some proper futzing and maybe some water treatment. It really is a great Ford likeness - glad I decided to pick it up in the end!

Got mine today as well. I apologize for the rushed straight-from-box pictures but I had no time today.

For under $170, this is a very nice figure. The clothing is solid. The two most important parts -- the overcoat and the sculpt -- are very good.

I find the sculpt to be waxy like a candle and a bit yellowy but it has good detail -- a repaint will do wonders, even just a light paint wash would help greatly. But it's clearly Ford and that's something we don't often get with 'Ford' sculpts.

The holster and belt came with mine thankfully.

The bits and extras are fine. Glad to have them included.

I'll reiterate what Mr.E said above about the coat but apply it to the entire figure -- this is the BEST factory mass produced Deckard made to date.

Mine "should" arrive tomorrow. Can't wait to see it in hand.

I'm going to take my custom down from the Detolf and have it ready to compare. I know this new one will blow it away, for the most part, aside from the Jnix head sculpt. Hoping I can use the "battle-damaged" head sculpt on a custom TOD Indy figure.

My brain, eyes and fingers hurt....

1 side complete...I went with invisible stitch method.
I took out all the stitching and wired his belt today, as well as started working on the collar. I took the outside thread out and gave the thread holes a bit of a water treatment to shrink the needle holes. The upper stitching in the collar has been removed; so far, it looks like I may not even need to stitch anything on the collar. It is sticking together fine. We will see in the morning when the water dries.

Arrived today from Kghobby. It was in customs here in Spain 10 days

Will give my opinion and post pics with the other custom Deckard Ive been building this last years

Not sure how the hat will fit on this head without some sanding or chopping... are you prepared to do that?
A definite concern, especially if I were to consider selling the figure someday but I'm ready to do so.

I've got a spare fedora floating around here somewhere. I'll try that one first and see if it looks good. If the hat looks too small, large or just off, I'll hold off on altering the head sculpt until another hat comes around.

In regards to the HT fedora, you'll need to shave the head to make it fit. I was curious and tried with a spare fedora I have. With the decent Ford likeness, it could work, but Jones needs the stubble in my opinion.

What hat are you going to use? Inigo's hat will look best but shouldn't fit without shaving the sculpt down some. The HT hat would fit because its pliable but will undoubtedly spread and look odd.

I'll be curious to see how this sculpt works for Indy though.
I'm not sure who made the hat but it appears to be made of a resin. I picked it up from a fellow Freak, if not mistaken. I'll look for it and post a pic.

Marvellous! What body did you use?
Cant remember the model because it was for many years in my custom Blade Runner. Its a clone body with a little more build up than the common narrow shoulder. Will undress him to check the body again.
This is the holster I am using (by Gustavo Bautista) and I have to get a more accurate belt.
