Ah thanks! I thought maybe there were supposed to be magnets somewhere to hold it closed but it doesn’t seem so! Very strange. I also got paint ships on the side of the hair on the main sculpt!
late reply but there are 3 pairs of magnets for the shirt and usually the position is not aligned so you need to push them into position.

in this video it says he wore 4 shirts (not counting the casuals and escape), 3 ties and 2 pants.

i always though he had 2 similar square patterned ties Dark Toys vs Redman and another Darker pants? Do you know which pants he wore during which scenes?

i just want to repurpose the redman with darktoys head but want to get the pants right.

but it seems both dark toys and redman shirts will result in non battle damaged look or did he get some bruises during Zhora's fight?

btw anyone reused redman parts? like the shirt or shoes?

as for the belt it is confusing, in some shots it shows brown, in some still shots it shows it has white stitching, the holster definitely looks like it has white stitching everyone is complaining about.

To my knowlege, the basic (jacket and pants) outfits worn by Deckard are:

1. White dragon noodle bar: Tan/orange colored tweed pants and jacket/blazer. Purple or blue shirt with basic graphic pattern.

2. Visit to Tyrell corp and Voight Kampf Rachel test. Charcoal tweed pants, tan/orange tweed jacket/blazer. Shirt with patterned dashes (Redman and Scott Pettersen v2 Deckard figure)

2. Zhora chase: Brown pants and green striped/ red upper shirt and patterned collar (Dark Toys and Scott Pettersen v1 Deckard shirt version). Tan/orange wool and cotton tweed jacket/blazer

4. Bradbury final scenes with Roy B. Tan/orange colored tweed pants and matching jacket/blazer, shirt black/dark blue with complex purple line geometric line graphics. (Scott Pettersen v3 Deckard version).

so Redman version should have grey pants instead right? the rest are tan pants.

i am curious no one interested in the escape and in car costume in the final cut scene.

as for the recast (not so good paint), i noticed some flaws on the ears, the lines are rough like the ear hasnt been clean for whole year, and some very minor chip on the left ear edges. the head also felt slightly narrower. Paint wise, the recast has much clearer paint job but is glossier, while the Dark Toys paint looks very soft like a dream filter but the skin tone has more red pigments. Odd thing is the recast has more detailed skin texture than dark toys, so it might be possible the recasts are actually based on the original buffy head than the dark toys. Dark toys finish is very matte like it doesnt reflect lights at all.

Yes, so the Redman verson should have the grey pants. It's the same outfit that Scott tailored for his version 2 Deckard which conincidentally I am also selling.

As for the escape scene do you mean the wooly coat he wears when escaping with Rachel? I think Scott has aleady done that version too. To date, I think most versions of Deckard have now been created.

Yes, the wooly coat has been done, not sure about the shirt. The noodle bar outfit is in production at the moment (Scott's latest).

Ace Deckard is already out it seems. i think the shoes an upgrade for those that couldnt get the ebay or customs. The shirt collar has the better positioned patterns with more details but brighter shirt? The wallet is the correct triple fold.

I wonder if parts will be parted out cheap for an upgrade?

Guys how do you close the shirt collar and tie flush? i am using four in a knot since it suppose to be the narrowest but the underside of the tie doesnt stay flush.

I'm having the same problem, I ended up ordering a replacement tie from dinodinoya on Instagram.
It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm hoping that it solves the issue.

also i used coomodel 001 body but it seems the neck is still too long without cutting? did you guys mod anything using coomodel?

i end up using the stock ankle pegs for the stock shoe added some tapes to fit the coomodel.

the stock belt seems abit short for coomodel. had to use the last slot.

will use stock hands too.

The stock Dark Toys figure/ outfit is limited without futzing/ modification as to how well you can dress the tie due to the neck and shirt tailoring, since the position of the top shirt button and collar are at an angle on the neck which causes the length of the tie to lift up. An easy fix is to simply wet the tie and keep pressing down. And repeat - I did this several times. I did this in conjunction with spray starch and a wet iron of the tie to make it neat, wrinkle free and to keep its shape. Re-working the collar and its fold with the same method will also help, which I also did. You can also use Deckard's blazer if it is still sticking up/ out from his body to keep it flatter to his chest. I also mimicked the lengths of both the front and inside parts of the tie as it looks in some/ most set photos and moments in the film. Finally, if I recall correctly, the stock DTs chest isn't very good and accurate to Ford's/ realistic and sticks out somewhat, causing the tie to push out. So, the BD005 may have also helped with easier dressing of the tie. The shirt definitely fit better on the BD005, though.

I believe all of the below photos are after I swapped out the stock DTs body for a BD005, which someone else uses and recommended to me. The BD005 is a cheap MMS261 ANH clone, so it is basically Ford's body. But the shoulders aren't the most natural looking and orientated, and suffers from the same issue with many 1/6 bodies in that they don't have a natural sloped curve but instead are very horizontal and stiff like a coat hanger. From what I recall, I don't think you can pull the shoulder joints down for a more relaxed shape and posture like you can with some better bodies. I think the outfit as a whole also doesn't fit the BD005 as it should, adding to this stiffer look, since the shirt sits higher up his neck on the BD005.

I didn't like the BD005 much for the above reason. Whilst it corrected and gave Ford a more correct height, adding realism to the figure, it made his coat and trousers a bit too short. His shoulders and posture looked off to me, too, a bit too stiff and awkward. I have a various other bodies now for my next Deckard that I know will work better.

I believe all of the photos below are on the BD005. It's surprising how off and short he looks on the stock DTs body when you compare both. Note, this my old Deckard figure which I no longer own. I added a wet rain effect to his coat but it might not show well in the photos:

i am using coomodel 001. from the head to the ankle peg from dark toys he stands around 30.5cm which is around the correct height with the shoes. but the shoulder is unnatural. i dont k ow if the shoulder is the same with the 005. should have added some paddings on the shoulder instead of the tummy... maybe with the trenchcoat on it may look better.

i got the tie to stick together but the knot doesnt want to stay where the button is keeps going below the button...

did you use the 005 ankle peg if so how did you fit the shoe into it?
