I HAVE NEVER SEEN TOPGUN.
I am not proud of the fact , and I can't wait to witness this for the first time this weekend , is it as good as it was made out to be and still is ?.

it is a good watch. maybe a little dated but good. i think this movie caused airforce enrollment to skyrocket back when it was released.

Top Gun is an ok movie, mostly inaccurate militarily but a cool movie nontheless. I love that movie. Still, it's not like Lord of the Rings or Gladiator epic or insanely great. But still a kickass movie.

A friend of mine joined the Navy after seeing Top Gun( the closest he got to a plane was when he came home!)
Coincidentally I was in Atlantic City a few months ago and I saw the Top Gun slot machine, the main cast's pictures were on it , but not Tom Cruise. By the way, this machine was right by the Star Wars slot machines!

Speaking of the awesomeness of Top Gun... I found a badass plane replica online, it's of MY squadron's jet... with the paint job that I freakin designed. Pretty damn badass... check it out.

Awesome Two-Face! Man! You are giving me serious thoughts about getting my 1939 one done sooner than later!
But seriously, that is too cool. You ARE gonna mold and cast that I hope!?
(You really should make your own original zombies too! I mean, your own LINE of Zombies! Not like anyone owns the names or properties! Just generic Zombies....food for thought....)

(And I liked Top Gun. Wasn't NUTS about it, but saw it at the theatre in an air base town, Savannah, GA, when it came out and loved the experience of seeing it! So 80's and so cool! See...I LOVED the 80's! Best time of my life! I was in art college, the music ruled, and it wasn't so damn grim and black and downer and all then, but was upbeat. LOVED that decade! My favorite BY FAR of any I've lived so far. )

The head for Two face is from a just released Dragon figure, Rudolf Mertens. I sawed it nearly in half, filled the head with Sculpey and began carving away. So far I am finding that I was heavily influenced by Tim Sale's rendition of the character, with that almost sinewy look to the burnt side. Like the acid had splashed and burned as it dripped down his face, causing the wound to have lines gouged out... almost like rivers drawn on a map. And of course, the bulging eyeball.
I AM going to mold this sucker too, so expect that down the line. AND I am also going to make my very own zombies that will be casted and available eventually, my own little line of madmen that I can sell wherever..
