Wow! He looks really good! when the medi Wolverine first came out, I thought of getting it, but somehow I felt like his face it's too cartoonish, but your paint job really made a huge difference! now I wanna get one again! Awesome!

Darren, did you just decapitate Hugh Jackman?!! lol

Astounding paintjob, looks very lifelike. I cant believe its still a work in progress lol

"Alas poor Obi, I knew him Darth Maul-- a fellow of infinite force-ability."
You're making the headless Obi body cry (if he had tear ducts). Stop driving around in your eco-friendly car, chain yourself to your desk, and paint as if you were one of the myriad of viking slaves whose oars would savagely slice the sardonic sea...

I kid because I love----- my unfinished Obi.:D

That Hugh /Wolvie looks awesome-- you've nailed the likeness. That's why I took my Obi predicament to the best.

Give an update whenever you get the chance--- on my sculpt or on any of the sculpts you're working on. It's fun to see the creative process from original primeordial ooze all the way to glistening Romanesque statue.

But enough hyperbole.... I must return to my meditation and you... You must finish that sandwich that you currently covet (got ya--- thought I was going to say paint didn't you? Uh?...:D).

Peace:angrycanu

...yes SIR!

(well.... actually I have to drive my car to the art shop in about ten minutes when they open this morning to buy a few new eye brushes. So if you'll allow me that... then I'll do what you say) :p

:rotfl Damn those art stores popping up everywhere and destroying our environment.

No news yet on the Ripley sculpt sadly... but I'm about to finish a bunch of things (WWI figure, Obi-Wans, Arnie) that will let me get on with these new sculpts.

Firstly, anyone who has my blog address bookmarked. That address will still work, it'll redirect to my new address. I've set up the blog at www.darrencarnall.com (as per the link in my signature)
add the new address to your bookmarks :chew
secondly..... look what turned up today

I'll start sending out Anakin heads to people from Monday morning, obviously people waiting for painted ones will have to wait a little longer, but the good news now is that it's starting to move

Finally :D

I'll start posting to my blog every few days again from the weekend... it's gone far too long without updates while I've been snowed under, but I'm going to start taking in progress pics again and posting them whenever I can. Sometimes it'll be daily, and sometimes every few days..... but the point is... there'll be news from my workdesk!!

Thanks for the update Darren--- I'll look forward to any of the pics of the Obi (TPM) sculpt.:D

ok Wolverine finished. Annoyingly these pics don't show the shiny eyes too much, but they're there obviously. I'll probably take another one with a light shining on his eyes or something... anyway, here's a few pics.

Can't wait for the Nos Rip from Alien Darren, still have a headless body in outfit waiting.

Also, VERY IMPORTANT... there's a ton of us who need a T1 Sarah. :D

Darren that Wolverine is amazing, congrats. Now stop teasing us with pictures of Hugh Jackman's head photoshopped on a wooden post and show us pics of your real paint job! ;) :lol:lol
