Doesn't matter. I'm not wrong. Maybe through your eyes, but not mine.

your are absolutely correct. no one is "right or wrong". We all have our point of view.

What can be frustrating though is when folks start stating their view as fact (and I am as guilty as anyone else).

I never "threw" my eyes...:wave If it is about opinions then say that is your opinion not that it is a fact

You honestly want to get into this? Dont be mad that you got suckered into buying it. BOOYA !!

You LOOOOOOOOOOVE this bust so much....right. But yet you dont like the head for some reason and want to sell it. You cant even except the WHOLE bust for what it is.

I bow :bow to the people who didn't waste their money on this.

Dont care want anyone says. It has a lazy eye. It has MANY flaws.

So telling me just how great this bust is will not get you guys anywhere. People can disagree. It's not a good piece.

Like I said HOLY GRAIL for many people. :cuckoo:

Like I said $1200.00 for that bust is a BIG waste of money.

Interesting...I was very reluctant to get this after reading about the lazy eye and considered canceling it. However, once I received it I am extremely happy I held firm. He looks really good displayed with the helmet off, many people have seen him and not one has noticed or commented on a lazy eye. True, I think some had it, mine looks pretty good but unless your looking for it most people are in awe of this and it has a very overwhelming positive presence in my collection. When I asked my little sister she said hey its Vader, he is all jacked up anyway and not supposed to look perfect. In all my statue collecting, its the best 1200 I have spent, of course taking into account I have liquid cash to spend on hobbies like this. Just my opinion.

Never said it was fact. I said it has a lazy eye. To me... I see a lazy eye. Maybe you dont see it, but I do.

So to me and let me just say that again... TOO ME ... it has a lazy eye. The other person who posted it has a lazy eye can see it and so can I.

Dont hate just because we see something that you dont.

enough nOOb. you don't need to explain the same thing over and over. we get your point. you don't like it. great. you made your case. move on...

I see here a case of envy. Maybe you cannot afford this and then you bash it everywhere. :monkey1 Anyway I'm done talking to people who only know bashing. I'm also done replying to people who have a single idea in their heads and try to enforce it upon others. Hitler was one of these people LOL :cuckoo:

And another thing before letting you spill your anger again:

Spilling my anger? You must be the one that's angry, because I never stated I was angry. You can't except another person's opinion about this bust, so to make your point, you sulk and pout.

Envy huh.......:cuckoo:

As for affording it, think again buddy. I just took my wife and two daughters to disney world for a week vacation a month ago. I just think before I buy. I'm not an impulse buyer.

I really like that picture of you running that race in the photo you posted. Did you win?

please can we all leave the insults for other boards? Let's AGREE we all love star wars and love darth vader. congrats to those who own this bust and congrats to those who passed and are considering the efx version. And congrats to those silly enough to consider getting both!:dance

Wow... One of the things I enjoy most about collecting is sharing as well as appreciating the pics of new and old releases and discussing them with other fellow collectors. While there's generally room set aside to critique (and even dump on a piece, on occasion), it's generally done with a candor that shows an openness to agree to disagree.

Thankfully, most of us have been around way too long to be that easily persuaded by those who either fail or refuse to illustrate the type of openness which exemplifies forum decorum. All this to say that what truly matters most is what we think of these pieces. However, as most are well aware, how we feel about pieces doesn't have to be something we need to endlessly argue or urge others into thinking as well. Sadly, we sometimes come across members who appear unable to grasp this concept, for whatever reason.

If we wanted to, we can all find something amiss with just about every Sideshow release. However, if we generally followed that course of action with our hobby, it wouldn't be much fun at all, not only for ourselves, but for others as well.

Thanks for the kudos on this piece. It truly is a wonder to behold.

Chaos is a noob troll looking for attention, plain and simple. Anyone with half a brain would have moved on by now... just ignore and he'll go away.

And like many of the other people who own this bust I think its damn awesome. It has a place of honor in my collection and I'm stoked to own it. Price was definitely a bit too high, probably 20% or so... but I buy because I want, not for resale :lol

There's a guy on statueforum selling a NRFB Exclusive at $1200 shipping included. That's a pretty darn good deal. I purchased from him before. He's a nice fellow.

The only reason I didn't buy this one myself is because, honestly, I wanted the Sideshow guarantee and the points (approximately $70 off my next sale). But that's me.

I just realized he registered here in October 2010...

Anyway the Vader bust is a great piece even with its flaws. I like it and it is quite impressive, when my friends come to my house and look for my SW collection they like seeing my MR AT-AT, SS Vader bust and Stormtrooper helmets and blaster. Even the electrician and the guys with the furniture were amazed by the Vader bust.

I'll be waiting now for the eFX ANH Vader helmet and maybe an eFX Vader reveal saber and I can say then I'm done with Vader. Thus I'll have an idealized Vader and a movie accurate Vader. That would be enough for me.
