I've never been interested in buying anything Star Wars, despite loving the films, but i think i will go for this if the price is right. Now i just need to get employed again before it gets released!
And i would prefer the sound effect to be him shouting "NOOOOOOOOOOO", that would be amazing. Okay i was just kidding about the last bit.

Well the reveal portion looks good and detailed and the Anakin sculpt seems very well done, the actual faceplate and dome are way off...sorry I don't mean to nitpick because it is a very impressive piece, It looks like Vader, but some important details are off. Namely the symmetrical faceplate is wrong for the OT Vader only ROTS had a completely symetrical faceplate and the dome details are very very soft, should have a sharp ridge line in the on the dome. It is not my intention to try to dissuade anyone from buying this piece, but as a huge Vader fan and having owned numerous 1:1 Vader helmets this is what I see from the first pics shown. SS got it close but for the $$$ they are gonna be asking it should be better. I haven't read this whole thread so forgive me if this has been brought up already.

Does not really look like Shaw at all...no eyebrows either like we thought so it's the SE version.
No biggie, would rarely display it without the mask anyway.
Love the size of it and looks to be pretty detailed.

Sure, the likeness is not as good as it could be, but the detail is outstanding. I already have a nice ESB Vader helmet, so I pretty much want this exclusively for the exposed Anakin portrait. In that regard, I'm pretty satisfied with this. The lack of eyebrows doesn't really bother me. I hate the Special Editions (really hate them), but that change was not overly horrible. In fact, I always thought his eyebrows should have been gone long before the Special Editions even existed.
Of course I'd love 100% accuracy, but since there aren't many options for this type of piece, I'll have to go with Sideshow. It's one of the defining moments of the entire OT for me, so perhaps I'm going easier on it than I might otherwise...
