$700?? I stopped buying these SW PF statues long ago... The last one I bought was the Yoda & Clone Trooper @ $350.

The HT 1/4 scale Vader now looks like a bargain compared to this.
 
Not sure what pple see in this crap. IS puts this to shame! This costs more as well with a huge edition size, what a joke! Can ss do anything right anymore?

You serious? this won't sell 2000. I don't like this statue, and for that price is insane! Thank God I got the IS Vader cuz if this was the competition I would be upset!

Agreed. The only issue I have with Iron Studios is the a tad large chestbox and the too many buttons to turn on the lights. But Vader chestboxes are not perfect on too many collectibles so far, and for the lights I only use the AA type batteries which light up the base and lightsaber and is enough. The IS options for different poses are fantastic, and the overall details of the whole statue are simply incredible.

This new PF Vader looks better than the opera singing one, but still not as good as IS. And I'm afraid the edition size would be overwhelming as well, you might find this statue for retail for years to come.
 
At the very least, there's absolutely no reason to pre-order this. Just wait it out and see what else might come along in the mean time....

With the way SS has been putting out SW products the last few years, probably won't be much unfortunately :/

I haven't PO'd anything from Sideshow in years, let alone buy any of their products... but I think they still utilize an NRD, right?
It's just not worth the risk. Wait for in-hand pics before considering anything made by Sideshow.
 
i know this is a great topic for discussion, but I cant help but to feel sad. this is truly the beginning of the end for me. when PF are hitting $700, thats a wrap.

anyone who pays for this is culpable. i consider you my sworn enemy. stop supporting these greedy pigs. if you want this hobby to have any staying power in your life, you must draw the line somewhere. SS is doing their very best to find the line, and obviously we are nowhere near it. prices go up astronomically each year.
