Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Trailer was bad aside from a few scenes. My thoughts and opinions on this still hold true after my change of heart for BvS.

You just liked batman V superman cause you wanted to surprise everyone here. I see through your tricks. Nah just kidding, glad you liked it, i thought it was just so so but eh.

I've seen footage of Affleck Batman with a gas mask. He looks kind of like this,

His cape is wet and burned with holes in it too.
My guess is Batman captures a bunch of villains, puts them in a room, and uses Zyklon B to get rid of them. He is such a sadist in these movies that he likes to watch them up close when they bite it.

Later in the film he tells Punisher about it, and they share a laugh.

More jokes! :lol

Warner Bros. is being more proactive with their DC cinematic universe, starting with Suicide Squad, and is reportedly going to great expense to get it right.

The expense comes in the form of pricey reshoots that are meant to inject the film with more moments of levity, as opposed to the dire tone of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. A source told birthmoviesdeath.com reporter Devin Faraci that "Every joke in the movie is in that trailer" (referring to the most recent trailers), and due to the ecstatic response those received, Warner Bros. instructed the team to put more moments like those in the final film.

While I don't agree with this "sadistic Batman" crap about BvS, this...

Later he tells Punisher about it, and they share a laugh.
... made me laugh. :lol

I don't like the sound of it...

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Eh, I trust Ayer. If they wanted to go full-on, they should've gone for an R. As it stands, I wouldn't mind a bit more humor. Granted, this needs to be black-humor, like say, Deadpool's to bring up a recent CBM, just more "mature", and not something you'd get out of say, Spider-Man. This SS is obviously based on the Nu52 version, which was based on the Ellis T-Bolts issues, which were in turn based on the original Suicide Squad premise just with a crazier approach (and no, the Original T-Bolts were as similar to the Squad as Judge Dredd is to the Punisher, meaning just the basics). The circle of copying in its full glory...

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Man, Faraci doesn't know what the **** he's talking about. :lol

He's the worst offender at many things, and one of those is projecting his own views and biases onto what little scraps of actual insider information he might get.

And of course now the entire internet will believe every word of this. :lol

In my defence, I thought the New Gods reference is too much for Ayer's "Suicide Squad". :lol

Well, truth be told, I'm half expecting them to reveal that Enchantress is possesed from a being from Apokolips, thus tying it with JL... What? They're the ones who added "random Flash cameo which is never talked about again" and "Diana watches youtube videos"...

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I was a pretty big Highlander fan in middle school, but have never even heard of that one! Wow.
Be a good ex fan and never watch it. It's too damn horrible, waaay worse than The Quickening and Endgame. :lol

Man, I hope not. I want at least SOME mystery and magic in these films.

‘Suicide Squad’ Is Undergoing Reshoots to Add More Fun

Wow . . . WB is crapping its pants--and the bed--again!
They spent so much time pushing back the release date of BvS and totally overcooking it to über-violent jibberish that it looks like they're NOW going to kneejerk overcompensate in the other direction.

They're going to make the movie about a bunch of dark villains more "fun" after they made the movie about the defenders of truth and justice a downer. :cuckoo:

Maybe their next move will be to set their hair on fire and hire Uwe Boll to direct? :rotfl

Talk about re-arranging the deck chairs on the Hindenberg . . .
