Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

So we have....

Pimp joker who owns a strip club ?
One liners galore
Explosions and monsters...

Yipee...more of the same!

Sounds very typical Hollywood action flick. With a myriad of great DC stories , why do they keep screwing it up?

Hoping all that stuff is false.

Joker owns a strip club. Ugh that's so out of character. Why couldn't it be an amusement park

theme park implies safety, implies families visiting. dont think a Joker owned theme park would be opened for too long

A strip club is stupid, but a Casino would be more his style, Kind of like an Arcade for adults (the Casino could have sexy dancers and waitresses) a strip club is too edgy

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Joker I think of owns nothing....unless its for creating mayhem and going after Batman...

He does not own a strip club, exotic cars, or expensive Armani suits..

just my opinion of the overall character for the past 40 years....guess this is a new Joker for the New Generation.....sigh......

Wonder if he will have a music Video and hang out with the Kardashians now?

Joker will be the best part of the movie, just wait.

He's in an upcoming music video with Millennial god Skrillex and some fake gagsta rapper named Rick Ross. It's going to be da bomb or something...not joking.

Edit- never mind

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Yeah, I don't picture the Joker really owning anything. He just takes what he wants. I can see him controlling something like a strip club or casino, but not technically owning it. He's more after personal entertainment than financial gain. He does what he wants and doesn't care about the consequences so things like ownership mean nothing to him, but controlling a casino owner might amuse him. He can just blow through tons of money and not give a crap. He likes nice things, but he just takes what he wants - he doesn't buy them. It would be rather freeing to be the Joker :lol

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

imagine the Joker Paying his taxes or having to deal with a Health Inspector :rotfl
having to hire janitors and bartenders, making sure they show up on time :lol

Here's a better look at the villain:

His profile does remind me of this guy though:

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Yea I'm not sure I get this take on joker. People aren't afraid of him they just respect him. An arkham inmate lunatic can apparently own strip clubs I guess. I know penguin has a club but joker has killed robin in this universe it seems and is in a crazy vest. I never saw joker as a man after money but just after chaos and thrills. Guess I'm getting old

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Terribly wasted opportunity if his club isn't called "Joker's Wild". :lecture

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

That would be too obvious a title for a Joker front. The one thing about Joker is that he's unpredictable. You can't trust hm to do anything. So making him the owner of a strip club bears some responsibility and somewhat predictability. This take on the Joker is far different than anyone we've seen before except for the Romero joker who would pull off something like this to fool Batman. I don't know, he looks like an 80's punk rocker and runs a strip club. They'll probably have him kill a few poeple and say some crazy lines to justify that he's the Joker.
