Part 1 - no clue. it isn't a slam on anyone who goes for saving money, and as tight as mine is i probably should as well, but I love my LCS and this is driving people online and hurting LCS business.

To everyone pondering a pre-order, if 349.99/249.99 turns out to be the actual retail, you won't get that statue for 100.00.
they would in all likelyhood cancel the order, probably with an email notice, and have you re-order at the correct price point.

Had a quick read of the UK site's info on pre-orders and it states that, should the price go up after ordering and paying, they'll honour the lower price listed (if you pay the total and not a deposit). It also says that when pre-ordering, they'll ensure they have the correct amount of stock (which is reassuring). The more I look at this statue, the less I'm bothered by it (especially if the RRP is $249), however if I can get it for £99 then I'll go for it anyway.

I have to admit, I was shocked to learn that it was listed online for $99 for essentially two statues, seemed too good to be true for the RRP to be the same as the regular bombshells.

Yep, just pre-ordered! It'd be great if the price remained low and that DC just listed it wrong (although I doubt it).

If anything the company jumped the gun on price point figuring it was the same cost as the rest of the line. I hope I am wrong but upon reflection even 250.00 is too much. This is stupid DC.

Yeah, if it weren't for this pre-order, the highest I'd be willing to pay would be £175 (couldn't afford any higher).

If this isn't confirmation, then I don't know what is.
If you have the money and can hit the pre-order before it's corrected I suggest you do so, even if I had it I wouldn't order it.
As it says in this convo with TK Miller, I cannot support this or DC any longer. Looks like a lot of items are gonna hit ebay.
This genuinely makes me sad.

Overreact much? It hasn't even gone up for PO yet. Most retailers will probably list Joker/Harley @ $199 or so. It's not s super deal but considering a regular one goes for about $100, a statue of this size, complexity and what I assume will be a lower production run I don't find it unreasonable and rage quit worthy.

No one is pointing a gun to your head, you don't like the price, don't buy it. Wait for a sale.

As for the statue, looks great, wish we could get a statue of just that Nurse Harley in the future.

I seriously doubt that LCS will do that. It's really a major point why I'm mad about this. the LCS keep them alive, yet the price points on so statues are forcing collectors online to acquire the pieces they want to, shutting out the lcs, taking away the community aspect, which is why I really liked this line. It got me excited to go back to my LCS and buy a few comics and, of course, statues and other impulse items. I was done when this line hit, wasn't into it at all.
Is it overreacting? Some will see it that way, but i never thought it was ok to get yours at others expense, how much money do companies really need?
I really can't support DC if they are going to take a major dump on their life line like this.

Just in case they pull their heads out of their *****, I will pick up the 3 between now and then.
It maybe a glitch, but that seriously looks like 350.00 to me.

I'd take a price listed by DC at a retailer show before I'd believe a retailer that probably jumped the gun and listed this before it was even solicited to them.

However whatever the price on this individual statue - the entire Bombshell line is still a phenomenal artistic success. I can't see getting rid of all the other pieces because you mad about what may or may not be the final price on a specific statue.
