Didn't get Darkseid yet, saw it at my LCS and still debating. But I did pick up the JL 52-7 pack for $76 shipped

I saw this last night at my LCS and to me it looks okay, but its sheer size has great presence. I just wish they'd make one based on the original/classic design, as I'm not a fan of Jim Lee's New 52 costumes that are way too busy/colorful for my taste. I don't like yellows on a character whose name reads "dark side".

Yea I own the one from Superman/Batman: Supergirl series, I like him quite a lot.

That looks great man! The sculpt of that Darkseid really captured the art of the late Michael Turner. And that's the Darkseid that I love. The new design kind of confuses me with MONGUL from afar. But then again, it would look great on a shelf considering its size.

True he is a very nice figure if you want a Jack Kirby design esc obviously based from Michael Turner's art.

But I do want to get that mammoth Darkseid from the new 52, I mean there surely is room for both?

The figure is awesome. It's pretty heavy. A good solid piece very nice detail. Waiting on my new JL 7 pk to arrive Monday.

I saw this on display last night. He looks great, but I think he's just too big. I don't want him to look out of scale on my shelf. I picked up the 7 pack for a great price though. Early next year we will get Green Arrow, hopefully Martian Manhunter and maybe Captain Marvel will follow soon.

Anyone thinking of posing this next to the hot toys reeves superman or man of steel version when it comes out. I think it might look cool and make his size more like the orginal, being hot toys are 12" and this is 13", whatha think?
