I hope SS keeps the EX Worms, it will be cool owning an example of the BIGGEST mistake ever produced by SS. But I love me my Supes!

Taking a stab at me, but NOT calling me out is weak and useless... I have said this REPEATEDLY ... if you don't like the fact that I am posting to support this piece ... put me on your IGGY list... I don't care. As for me being the ONLY one who like this that is bull****. About 20%-25% of the guys here DO like the Ex, but they are just less vocal then I am. I wouldn't be surprised if they are just not looking forward to being made fun of the same way I have been. Now I am a BIG boy and I can handle it, but I don't think that anyone should have to.
We are allowed to like this piece, and that doesn't make our opinion ANY less valid then yours. Just becausde more people think the way you do doesn't make your opinion RIGHT ... it just makes it more common.
As for this being the BIGGEST MISTAKE that SSC has ever made... Were you here when the rumours came out that SCC was changing the Regular head from the one they had at SDCC and I was saying that EVERYONE should have faith that people at SCC would get it RIGHT? The VAST majority of the board kept coming down on me saying it was an AWEFUL idea, and that the SDCC Reg head was PERFECT. Guess what ... those same guys are now talking about how PERFECT the NEW REG head is, and how it is SUCH an improvement. In the end you know what ... WE HAVEN'T seen this in hand yet ... and JUST like the Joker Ex head... people WILL change their tune. Not everyone, but I am damn sure this vocal HATER group is going to dwindle.

I know right .... the guys who kept this thread going when NOTHING was coming out have ALL bailed and left it to the HATERS ... well I haven't. There are SO many negative whinny *** threads right now that it is killing the excitement for me. THIS is a homerun in my opinion ... how EPIC does this look. However, you can't say that without the same group of WET blankets coming down on you.

The HATER thread is the HATER thread ... go and enjoy is my opinion. Honestly, the positive people have ALL been run out of this thread. It is to the point that I get singled out for posting that I like this OVER and OVER again... but guess what I am just responding to the people who keep saying that they hate this or make fun of it ... OVER and OVER again. This is actually one of the BEST statues I have EVER seen, and I know I new, but the constant *****ing and moaning about an EX that we haven't seen IN HAND is jJUST as FRUSTRATING to me as my positivity is to the rest of you; at least I am not TRASHING something that you guys are excited about. I have been guilty of THAT and I have learned my lesson... people have a RIGHT to like something and they shouldn't be made fun of because they do.
Maybe I was spoiled because the BMan thread was just so great and no one had anything too terrible to say. I know I have stated that I do not like things here in the past but I say it and that's that. I'm not here to be a broken record of a downer. Pretty sure SS knows many are displeased with the EX by now. They may do something they may not. Either way honestly, I'll be beside myself with joy the day I get to put him next to my Bats.
Spidey, I know people get you riled up in here but take it from your fighting a losing battle. I see these guys come in with 10 posts under their belt complaining about the eyes and I just skim right over them. I know they don't want to comb through a bajillion pages to see if someone else has posted about it so let em. We can still enjoy the piece and create a better atmosphere in here along with RB, BR, BCC, Jaws, CSI and forgive me if I left your name out. Still a great group of guys on here to make it fun.

To be fare Spidey his comment was at least creative and not just another "Worm Eyes Suck" post.
I agree to a point. If you go into a thread and bash a piece that you never plan on owning the that can become annoying and troll like. Why keep going to the same post to bash a piece you will never own.
Now in the Case of the Superman piece. Many who are complaining are people who are getting it and are hoping SSC will change the look or give us an extra head. I don't have as much of an issue with that. Because you are going to be an owner you are allowed to talk about it.
In all honesty the back in forth about this is the only thing that makes this thread interesting until SDCC and we get some new pics.
That also has to include repeatedly posting the same pictures and content over and over every day. It's no different. A forum board is an open discussion
The guy's having a jab at the ex have every right to talk about that just as much as listening to someone drone on about how good it is every 5 minutes whilst using up their monthly quota of data on one thread.
Just because the majority don't like one small aspect of the statue , it does not mean they hate it. I find the jokes about the EX the only refreshing thing about this entire thread.
I basically agree. I mean we have a year to wait. Neither side know how it's going to look in person. So praising a piece over and over is the same as bashing something you don't like about the sculpt over and over. As I stated before there is not really anywhere to take this until we get more pics.
Well actually the poll thread I started was not supposed to be a hater thread. It was just looking for who liked and did not like the ex head since there were some who were saying that the "haters" were in the minority.
Had the voting gone the other way would it have been considered an EX head lovers thread??? I also think that since the outcome was so one sided that the haters feel a bit emboldened and justified in their complaints

Spidey I love you my man. But it was you that made the sarcastic remark about the Joke I quoted above and then others attacked your constant praise. Neither side is right or wrong for posting their opinions on this piece as long as they are getting the piece.
Also there is a difference between getting a gift for free and complaining and spending 400.00 + shipping for something that is so close to getting what we all wanted but end up with something nobody asked for and only a few like.
They could call it Red Worms and this could be their mascot.

Yes Spidey, Don't get riled up about all of this. Let it be as is. Your enthusiasm is dying because of the haters but also because there is a long wait until SDCC and even longer to get this piece in out hands. Then if you are right and the flame eyes looks great, you get to give the biggest "I TOLD YOU SO" of all time.
I don't know how much you went on about the Batman bust but I did not think, from what I saw, that you did anything wrong. You stated your opinion and backed it up in a respectful manner. Had you continued to keep going back and bashing on it, well then that is another story.
It's weird that so many worry about or let others opinions effect their enjoyment or excitement about a piece. Just don't happen with me I guess.

I pre oreded the ex. Version. At first glance it does look cool. Until I read this forum and now it does look silly. The ex head sculpt looks awesome on its own. Now I wish we could get another head sculpt without the flaming eyes. I know ssc will not change the ex. If you like it show it, hate it then hide it.

Firstly, JAWS the ONLY reasons the haters are ruling this thread is because all of the fun people are tired of the bull****, and have left. Honestly, Dude aren't you tired of defending your HOLLOW Hulk from all the haters. Haters took over from a lot of FUN GUYS, and yes they were emboldened from the poll thread....they get to say they are I the majority, but guess what... It doesn't mean they are right.... If you had asked the MAJORITY of people here before the reveal if they should change the SDCC portrait they would have said NO it was perfect. Also, if you had asked the majority of people of they liked it before the HD images came out they would have said he looked to OLD. The MAJORITY isn't always right, and before SDCC we won't know a damn thing... Maybe not till it is released. So why the haters have to keep bringing this down is beyond me.
As for me bringing this on myself by being positive. Well I would rather be positive about a piece, then a negative ***. In fact I now make it a policy to stay out of threads for pieces I don't like. People who LOVE a piece don't need to hear my negativity.... I have learned my lesson... It just isn't fair to tare into something others are excited abou IMHO.
As for me saying "I TOLD YOU SO" if this turns out AMAZING... I don't want to say that... I want all of the *******s who have made fun of everyone who has been positive.... To come In here ... Show some STONES...and admit they were wrong. That or sell their EX head to a worthy newb who deserves to hae the thing they were hating all over.
This thread was WAY more fun back about 500 pages or so.... The fun people have left.

Spidey, dude, you need to calm the heck down man. Your making yourself a target for three reasons. One, you post non stop on the boards so its pretty easy to quote one of your multitude of posts. Two, you vehemently share your OPINIONS all the time, and don't back down, ie the GL PF and Batman bust. And lastly you let everyone see how bent out of shape you get when people bash something you like. Its a internet message board where people come to express their opinions. The more people disagree with those opinions the more people post. I doubt most of it, if any, is directed in a manner to attack you. Even when you were bashing the Batman bust I had just bought I never took it personally, everyone is entitled to their opinions, I just expressed my opinion that much harder back. But if your going to take every negative post about the Superman statue to heart as if they are attacking you personally, your going to be quite miserable for the next year + until Sideshow either changes the head or release this beast. My suggestion is to log off, go spend some time doing something fun with your family, and come back a little more relaxed. The haters aren't going anywhere, so your either going to have to accept the fact that many people (the majority actually) don't like this statue and will continue to bash it, and/or try to get it changed, or you will just need to avoid the thread all together. Either way you really should stop taking any of it personally. I actually kind of like the EX head but still find all the postings hilarious.

Its like someone can post 100 times they like it but others cannot post 100 times they dont... if someone can post they like it other have the right to post the opposite... everyone buys a statue others will put down (I have several that get put down and I still like them but will never say people shouldnt give their opinion)... people can post a million times they like the head but I will never say they shouldnt post anymore even if it takes up thread space

Spidey, there is some truth to what CSI said. These breaks I took from SSF have been wonderful. You should just walk away from the boards for a month and enjoy yourself. They aren't going anywhere. May do you some good. Lol

Dude I was ACTUALLY wrong when it came to posting about the bust though, and I have gone into the GL thread an publicly apologized and back down there. I don't mind admitting I am wrong m8. That is the thing. I shouldn't have hammered on GL before we got more info on it, and as for the bust I should never have stepped up and decided what I thought I knew was more important then what others were telling me.... It was arrogance m8. I should have backed down.
Part of my problem is just that this thread was a LOT of fun before, and it is simply just full of complaining and *****ing now.... It is like Josh said ... So this thread is going to be one long ***** FEST from now on??? That is unawesome in my opinion.
