These threads tend to break down into a bunch of comic geeks *****ing over a product they just bought, even though they had every opportunity not to. So if both Superman threads continue like this, then yeah, I'm gonna lurk and post infrequently. I don't need to see post after post of the same redundant comment about one thing.

That goes for every thread on this entire site though. Also if you're reading this right now you are firmly planted into the "comic geek" category.

Funnily enough, it's not the negative comments that usually bring threads down in my experience. People are usually happy discussing the pro and cons and weighing up their options. Fights usually start when people take criticism as some kind of personal attack (read spidey).

It's all down to perception. Some people see a thread full of hate and negative comments. I see a bunch of blokes having a laugh and telling it how it is. Regardless we're all in for $400.

You're mock up is better. I could live with the flame/twiggles/smoke effect if it was clear there was a set of eye ball-s in the head like appears in you're photo shop.

The main problem for me is that as far as we can tell from the proto, he has no eye's.

I just find it funny the number of people who are unable to handle other people's opinions, especially when they are so versed in making sure everyone knows theirs

They can always start a private group and only let in people who agree with them

Spidey, I believe you have done some ridiculing of those who don't agree.

I say keep posting your opinion. I love reading it. I don't care if it's positive or negative. You tend to post things I find of interest. I love how you defend the EX. I mean that in a good way. I read what you say. I think it over and still pray for a change in the EX eyes.

Spidey, You know I am the first person to defend you when I think you are right. Hell I have been declared your wingman. However, Here I think you are a little bit off and it's not just because I happen to not like the EX eyes.

Basically you got annoyed with a blast at the EX head and you posted your annoyance.

Then others got annoyed that you got annoyed and posted their thoughts.

And here we are.

Ah JAWS TODAY was a day that I decided to let fly with some annoyance. Maybe I shouldn't have, but I really was in a mood, and I decided to let loose with some censored big boy words. You know what... I shouldn't have, BUT it was kind of fun to unload a little bit.

As for ridiculing those who HATE this, I don't mean to be actually ridiculing people. Honestly, I can't be SURE of how this is going to look. There is a REASON why I haven't been willing to literally say "You can all kiss my *** when you are proven wrong". I just have faith... Like I said there was a time when no one wanted the Reg head changed... I had faith it would go well... And I am glad I was.

Look, I'm not in love with the EX eyes, nor do i hate it. I think they're okay. I ordered the statue because I love the look of Superman and if I'm going to pay $400 I'm going to get both heads. Will I display both, of course, will the EX head be on there the majority of the time if it stays as is? Probably not. But I'll pull it out of the box ever once in a while and display it.

Someone earlier posted they would hate for side show to see a page that doesn't include someone's hate for it. You know what works better than posting on a forum? Emailing them, calling them, write them a frickin' letter. And while I say everyone can post there opinion, and I do believe that, it's the same people posting over and over.

Not that anyone is actually going to read this and care.
