I'm very happy to be in the 1st batch. I hate seeing in hand pics of a piece and knowing I'll have to wait a while to receive mine.

How exactly do you know if your going to be in the first or second batch? Is there any way to tell?

Don't want to derail the thread, and of course it's simply my own opinion, but...

I find the body musculature to be very oddly proportioned and chunky, the cowl is hideous with butt brow and poorly spaced, too-wide-eyes, the shorts look like crap with the seam up the middle and ill fitting, the bat symbol too low, the pose is awkward, it looks to lean a bit, and worst of all, the cape & head look to be weirdly plopped on top of the body and not natural looking.

Again, its just my opinion and in the end means absolutely nothing except to say I don't want it. I'm happy for for everyone who likes it.

For my personal tastes, I hope the Superman PF turns out better....from the production photos I've seen, it agrees with me a lot more then Bats.

BTW I always give credit where credit is due, very good work on your mod!

I'm on flex pay for Supes. I'm down to my last payment. The notice SSC sent me said that my last payment will be due on April 10th to coincide with the arrival (from China) of the Supes PF. That puts me in the 1st batch. I'm eagerly awaiting him. Got a spot right next to Bats ready to go. How are you looking on a Supes PF JC? Is the timing of the release going to allow you to pick one up? I know how badly you want one. I hope you are able to score this somehow.

I was actually gonna post an update, so you beat me to it, lol..

Well I was able to move things around and do some figuring and I am able to get him without making a big dent in my finances, so to say I'm excited and relieved is an understatement, lol...I have my space picked out for him, so I'm soo ready for him!...Thanks for asking buddy...I can't wait!

If you attempt to over analyze this PF you can find some inaccuracies but over all this PF rocks.

Harsh....to each his own. I've seen your other post with the reasoning, and can't help but wonder if you really hate this piece truthfully, cause it's really a beautiful statue especially after pit surgery, or if you are just pointing these negatives out because you're angry you don't have one.

Oh, please. It's really quite simple....I just don't like the way it looks (BTW the only thing in life I really hate is liver ). Why would I be angry about not owning a piece I don't like? I could walk out the door of my LCS with 3 of them if I wanted and not think for a second about the cost. I'm just of the opinion that's it's butt ugly, and to be honest I'm not of fan of any of SS Batman efforts so far. However, as I stated, I'm happy for those who like it and own it. Like you correctly stated, to each his own (although it's a shame that the reverse isn't true most of the time around here). It's not for me and I hope Superman turns out more to my liking. I hope this clears up any continuing thoughts you might have about my motivations...wouldn't want you to lose any sleep over it! BTW I'm not laughing at you, just maintaining a sense of humor about it all.
