I'm the same as Kain. Streamlined my collection about 4 years ago and I'm really happy I did. SS has all the licences I'm interested in and I love the PF line so that's where I put my $$$. It's easy.

True. Although that Supes bust is SO tempting. He'd look so good near my computer... sticking to PFs though for now and only buying what's important. See you all tomorrow. I'm out.

Just in terms of the people who have drawn Supes over the years there are so many but Jim Lee is the one all these guys pick for reals? And dissing Ross like that? Not cool man. And the fact that someone had to go google Ross Superman and Jim Lee Superman so they knew what they looked like, i.e. they didn't know already, says a lot IMO.

And just to add my opinion, I would dig a Gary Frank inspired Supes so get right on that SS :rotfl

Does the "S" stand for "Sad Sack"?

I'm in the same boat....but I have to add Deadpool PF! EX for sure:)!!!!

Deadpool maybe be a yes for me too. Another five months to go till year end and am pretty sure there will be another one to two tempting surprise by sideshow.

Wonder when will supes go up for order. Hopefully this comes out not too long after bats so that we can display this together and it seems to me that based on the pose this two meant to be displayed together.

It will go up in the fall... some guessing spooktacular.... im going with that too

Spooktacula is awesome cos as a rule they release no horror related statues. A couple of months after it was over last year they released the Freddy PF :thud:
Same the year before with the Jason PF. Stupid.

Saw the preview at TDKR and it looked amazing. :yess:

After the Man Of Steel preview was over I let out a loud shout in approval over anyone bashing it or cheering along but it was quite evident who the favorite Hero of all-time is. People were there for Batman and that's it. Amazing. I figured it was a close tie but Batman may be so iconic he's the undisputed all-time fan favorite super hero. I have to agree with my own assumption. :)

Batman is clealy the best! My favorite! And the movie was badass! Freakin amazing IMO! Loved it! Will have to see it at least once more! :clap

I am very excited for the Man of Steel! My next highly anticipated movie. Next Summer? :( And I'm bummed the Batman trilogy is now over. :(

Well, you have to think about the history. For a very long time Superman was it. He had a run from 38' to about the late 60's where he was the favorite. But after the Batman TV show was cancelled and Denny O'Neil took over the comic you saw a much darker Batman, one that kinda fit the changing world. Superman had a resurgence in the 70's due to the movies but by the mid-80's the films were bad. Then Came DKR in 86', Batman: Year One in 87', The Killing Joke in 88' , Death in the Family 88'-89' and the First Tim Burton batman film in Summer of 89', Batman the Animated Series in 92'. It was like a Batman renaissance and he really hasn't looked back since.

So until Superman has that kind of push, where everything seems to go right for a span in all media formats and he hits every single age group with something compelling he's going to play second fiddle.

Sorry if I offended any Superman fans in my analysis.

I couldn't even enjoy the trailer, there was no sound in the theatre during the trailers. Even the first 5 minutes of the movie had no sound. We had to force the manger to restart the movie. Now I'm looking for the trailer online. Or I could just see the movie again.
