You think the hype is greater than Bats on this one? I really think the major difference will be the full reveal and what the EX will be. If there is a huge or major difference in with the EX vs. the Reg then there will be a scramble to get him. Plus he dosent have to compete with SDCC.

I agree, and I still believe that Batman is more popular than Superman.

I would rather they change the base to the Daily Planet.

Not a chance. With an TBD ES at time of preorder this will be up for a few days as well. Don't forget, Bats is much more popular than Supes. No way Supes will sell out in less than 24 hours. The only way that happens is if SSC puts up an ES at the time of preorder. Then it'll be a mad scramble to secure your order and this will sell out lighting quick. However, we all know that it'll go up with a TBD ES, so that won't happen.

it's all up to the licensor. if marvel says change something, sideshow has to do it or the statue will never be released

At first I was like WTF.... but now I try to think of it from the artistic side of things. As others have stated Batman is so high perched above Gotham with a strong wind catching his cape. Anything can happen to a cape that high. right?

I personally like the PF better. The bust has no top lip which kind of makes it look weird to me.

The top lip point is a good one. But I like the slight smile on the bust, that feels more like Superman to me.
