I hope the Ex will be special like the original Captain America PF. COH for the Ex only hopefully. Cannot wait to have this amazing piece in my collection. I don't mind the base but I'm cool if they tweak it a little as long as they don't do a thing to the Supes statue. He's perfect.

I'm curious how much work would go into completely changing the base. Its not even going to be up for preorder for a few months, then what, another 6-12 months before it starts shipping to us. I wonder if they wanted to change it, if they could and if they could without affecting the timeline too much.

Maybe they could I dunno. In my experience what you see at PO time is what you get. I mean there was a huge amount of hate directed at the Rambo II PF a few years ago, threads started etc etc and the criticism was totally warranted, the sculpt was lacking, some aspects of the statue were lazy but nothing was changed. That Rambo PF still bothers me man I wish they'd do another one but with heaps of them still in stock after a few years I don't see them revisiting that license.

they did change Psylocke's head after PO, and Rogue's ass, and PO has not gone up yet for Superman, but I do agree that it would be highly unlikely they would do it after. As for Rambo, you would hope SS would learn from their mistakes, but who knows. Besides this statue is absolutely perfect aside from the base.

right, but it was still able to be done, and after PO went up. If I recall they also added another head to the 1/6 GI Joe Firefly figure after massive complaints about it. There is precedent so there can be hope as unlikely as it may be.
