Because of the delay?

Yeah. I don't like having such a large window of time in which I could be charged $400. I like this statue, but I can certainly live without it. I was considering selling it anyhow. When I got the waitlist conversion I thought it would be shipping out right away, which was fine. There are other things coming out in late May and June I'd rather put my money towards. Would rather get a Pacific Rim statue instead I think.

Yeah, I can't let him go...I'm a huge Supes fan and he's gonna be my grail piece...Sorry you have to cancel..Good luck on your future collecting, man..

Thanks. I haven't fully decided, but am leaning that way. I never was a huge Superman fan, though I am enjoying the Superman Unchained comic by Snyder, which is really the first Supes comic I've stuck with beyond an issue or two.

This statue did turn out really fantastic though, which is why I considered getting it at all. It would look totally iconic next to my Batman PF. I really like the switch out exclusive portrait, but not the heat vision eyes really.

Supes is the reason I got into collecting Comic statues in the first place. This is my personal grail and I will wait for it as long as it comes to me perfect. Truth, Justice, and the June batch way baby!

So you're gonna waste $40 because of the uncertainty of when you'll be charged? You already planned to have that money for this figure.

I can transfer the $40 to another order. Not planning to waste anything.

He's right. Under delay circumstances SSC will transfer your NRD even if you have done so before. No loss really.

Although you can easily flip the EX for some profit later down the road...

Very true. Sometimes though the $100 profit isn't worth the hassle of listing, selling and shipping a big statue. I have mixed feelings and experiences with buying something with the intention of flipping it. Sometimes I see it as free money, other times I see it as devaluing my time.

Well, at least they FINALLY decided to send us an email for christ's sake. Such BS though...late may to early june? wtf!?

I got the Super Apology Letter, too.

While I'm not gonna cry about it I'm not gonna lie, it is disappointing. I am glad SS at least put some kind of expectation out there but we're getting this 2 months after originally shipping or more.

Have any Full Payers been processed yet? The email was very specific about Full Payers.

This needs to make it here before Apocalypse though because I have a feeling Superman won't be as exciting if it gets here after Apoc... Apoc just looks big and impressive.

This is absolutely unequivocally ridiculous. While I understand delays happen, there is absolutely no reason to make people who pay in full wait two months longer then people who flex-pay. Ship the damn statues in the order that the orders were placed!!! If you want to ship to flex-payers first, then make a statement ahead of time so the rest of us can make an informed choice. I get why they have to batch ship, I get that they have no control over when the statues get here or how many show up at a time. But they have absolute control over who they choose to ship them out to and they way they are doing it sucks in my opinion.

-for now- :wink1:
