youre wrong, if i need protection because they sell ****** statues so thats ridicoulous, think about it

They offered you a solution but you refuse to follow it. You tried to save some money and are now paying for it. Instead of insulting Sideshow, and now forum members, maybe you should spend more time talking with ebay's customer service.

Sir i wrote 3 times i contact aldready and hope he can help me, but i also wrote that i know how world works, unfortunetely someone has gonna pay for this and im thinking it will be on my shoulders not sideshow, but we will see

It was bought 3rd party! Every vendor and LCS on earth knows that they have to contact the supplier for returns

i dont understand, i directly follow soulution to contact sideshow custom service and then i contact ebay seller, so i dont get it, and between us i hope next sideshow statue you buy it will be from Europe for extra money of course if not, im going to tell you want save some money, do you agree :) ?
 
i dont know what is vendor and LCS, maybe thats why this is my first time problem with sideshow, i never want return any of my statue cause i love it
 
The ebay seller has to contact Sideshow so they can facilitate a replacement or return on your behalf Madejson. Hope it all works out for you.

If you do manage to get a full refund, maybe you should consider buying the Superman PF through one of the international members here in the B/S/T section to soften the shipping costs?

Sir im laughing, please tell me if you buy new tv lets say samsung, and this tv stop working after year, so you blame seller in a shop? not a samsung company for cheap crap electronic? are you kidding me?

It's a frustrating feeling / process to deal with when you pay for something and it doesn't work to your expectations 100%.

In your TV example let's say you were to buy a Samsung TV from WalMart (or whatever store you choose), if the TV breaks or you're not satisfied with it you would return it to WalMart, not Samsung directly. WalMart on the other hand will manage the process on their end and deal with Samsung directly afterwards. But your first point of contact would be with the vendor (WalMart) you purchased the TV from.

Similar to Sideshow (Samsung) given you bought it from an ebay seller (WalMart) you would need to approach the ebay seller for a resolution.
 
sideshow support told me today they cant give any refunds or replacaments sold by other retailers

of course i contact with ebay seller yesterday but the funny thing is i have to contact with him that he sell brand new poorly designed sideshow statue instead major producer i dont know maybe in europe we have different rules but i always think that problem has to resolved with company not with go-between seller which have nothing to do with that, hope he can help but i understand this is not a perfect world and if sideshow doesnt care, so my statue probably go to trash. We guys from Europe never pay 700 USD instead 400 USD, thats why we buy on ebay its simple, if you live in USA you buy from USA from 400 not for 700 from Europe right? thats completely normal for everybody (i dont know what are taxes and postage cost in USA but i think similar to ours) so sideshow is ridicoulous for me, i bought THEIR statue not ebay statue which is a broker nothing more

You have buyer protection through eBay and PayPal for thirty days after you receive the item. You should easily get your money back without any issues. It's the sellers responsibility to inspect the item for damage or defects before he sends it. The seller should have thoroughly looked it over once he received it from Sideshow.

Sir thats not like you wrote, stores always send product to producents believe me, so when electronics broke in my house i mean graphic card or something i always send directly to ASUS/Gigabyte/EVGA because store will do the same

If it broke a year later the seller isn't obligated to do anything. Even for electronics I would only send them to the manufacturer if they were covered under a manufacturers warranty. The best you can do is to be polite with SS and see if they can help you. If they can't, I guess that's that.
 
Sorry about all of the problems you are having with the statue. Hopefully you can get everything resolved. Do what you gotta do, and update the forum with the outcome to your situation. Best of luck! :pray:
 
I don't want to cancel my order, but it does suck that they will have to start all over again and another year to get this to the remaining people who still want it. Oh well, it is what it is. :dunno
 
I just wish the refunds were granted to those that request them. I didn't want my money refunded on Darkseid. I had him down to one final flex payment. It was nice to have him almost paid off. Now, I'm back at square one even though I didn't request a refund. I wish they would have made it an option by request.

I cancelled mine on 5/25 and still don't have the money back in my account

Did they scrap the new batches or something? I remember reading on the Darkseid thread that they were refunding as well but no one knows why.

From reading the other responses it had something to do with quality control and I think this is for Darkseid and Superman PF. What the actual QC issue is / specific details were never really given (ie. was it related to QCC issues prior to the statues even shipping as in they just did a terrible job or was it something to do while the statues were being shipped like water damage etc.)

SS sent a fairly generic email notifying customers of the delay and basically said it didn't meeting their QC standards. Not sure if we'll ever find out what really happened.
