hello guys thats my first message in forum, i have big sideshow collection but i have problem with superman premium format, statue leaning to the back and broke in leg, what i have to do now? is any warranty for that? statue for 400 USD...even if i can stick that,im very terrified that will broke again soon because cloak is so heavy, sorry for my english i count on your advices guys

Can you post pictures of that disaster and how long have you had Supes. I think they would replace the body for you, but you would have to pay the shipping cost. That's pretty fair I think.

so yes i order from seller from europe like always because i pay 400 USD not 700 USD (with taxes and postage) but why i have to wrote to seller he's nothing to do with it i buy brand new its only sideshow fault, so what i have to do? throw statue out to the trash? i guess in 10 years all owners will have this superman broke, sorry nothing personal its wrong designed polystone material is leaning down cause cloak weight, it happens sooner or later, probably this is the worst sideshow statue although looking very pretty in pictures, damn i love sideshow and i upload some photos my collection in a days on forum, but after this order i dont know if i ever bought from them, very dissapointing worst spending money ever, and i mention statue when cloak fallen down it damage visible hole to my shelf, so its another money to spend

Can you post pictures of the damaged statue? Personally I would like to see exactly what your talking about. I'm not for sure if sideshow will take any action regarding your situation since you purchased through someone else other than them, but it never hurts to ask..

One of the reasons why I bought my Dr. Doom LSF directly from Sideshow instead of a local retailer was because I heard of all the issues with weak magnets etc. As a result one of his arms fell off one day and cracked into pieces on the floor (and also one of the magnets for his head fell off as well), I reached out to Sideshow and they sent a replacement arm and epoxy for the magnet on the head, problem was eventually solved although it took a while and heartache especially considering the price.

This route was definitely more expensive but if I purchased locally I have no guarantee that the store would be able to fix the problem or reimburse me or I end up not having the LSF all together.

I don't think it is unreasonable for SS to ask you to reach out to your seller, for one they can't even verify whether you purchased the figure from them or anyone at all (they only reasonably have information from purchases through SS they can't verify another company's info).

All in all given the amount of money we spend on these things they should come as close to perfect as possible however the world unfortunately is never perfect.
 
ok photos no problem, i glued cloak head and leg with loctite 454 but still its looking not good

20160530_182709[1].jpg and its most painful joint between leg and boot, and red boot either lost 3 tiny piece which i glue

so you see guys what happen when my cloak fallen down in statue for 400 USD all except base which is still in great condition is broken, but what i have to do with base? sideshow didnt response to me in 3 days so yes they dont give a **** they did a ****** statue, thats my last statue with polystone cloak definetely and i know in Poland (which i come from) is 2 additional cases non breaking but leaning down, so you know guys what will happen in year or two right?

Wow **** that. I'd be very mad as well. Definitely go back to the retailer and tell them what happened. If they give you a hard time then keep pressing sideshow.

Also if you have the receipt, provide that to all parties.
 
tacticnf - yes i understand but youre not have to pay additional almost twice price for statue because im from europe and sideshow sending really expensive and taxes are great, of course i always buy inside european union, great you inform me that dr doom has issues too, but as you see on my statue cloak practicly destroy all things so its really disaster for me

They usually don't respond in a timely fashion no matter what the problem is. I've waited weeks for a response. Just hang in there and don't lose your cool with them.

I imagine there has to be some sort of recourse through Sideshow regardless of whether you purchased directly from them especially if they have a list of "authorized" retailers that they know they (Sideshow) sell directly to.

I remember one instance with a XM piece in another thread one of their authorized sellers were doing something shady with the pre orders or not honouring them and XM called them out on it and started to warn clients not to deal with them etc.

I assume SS does the same with their retailers (depending on which store you bought it from)?

ok i understand i contact with ebay seller which have over 30000 points for comments and 99,6 positive so its not amateur , just serious seller i think

please notice guys that superman premium format statue is still new on our shelfs, so problems with statue can just started
 
If this was an EBay purchase, then not anything seller/eBay can do for you. You are really at the mercy of SS if they want to replace that whole statue "on the arm." My guess is they will but right now they probably don't have any replacement parts for this Supes. The last batch was a no go since it couldn't pass quality control standards.
