DC Direct 13" Bizarro

Here are a few quick pictures of Bizarro. I really like this guy a lot even though I wish his suit was a darker hue of blue and red. They did a great job on the paint. The base body is white and the upper shoulders/chest are painted to match the head. I also like the choice of material for the suit. I was wrong about the boot material, it is stiffer material than the Green Arrow boots. It would have been cool to get a recycled chain or bendy girder from Superman for an accessory.

Ah, he is more angly than I'd thought - kind of a combination of the Ross zombie and traditional. I was going to get him anyway, but I tink I'll like him more than I'd anticipated.

Nice pics and review, Shaun! Ack! I'll probably end up keeping him. Seeing the Supes and Bizarro together really shows you how badly DCD screwed up the "S" placement on Superman. Bizarro should arrive here on Tuesday....a day late due to the Memorial Day holiday.

I couldn't get out of work on time to hit it up and avoid the traffic on the way home. I've already called and got one put aside for pick up tomorrow.

I just picked this up on Saturday and I really do like although the sticker price was a shocker. Through my LCS I paid $69.99 which I thought was seriously overpriced but the figure itself is nicely done. When you tilt the head downwards the sculpt is really shown off and he looks really menacing. He doesn't really match the Modern Superman all that well, so I'm assuming he matches the Classic better but I like him although I would think he is more of a $49.99 or maybe $59.99 figure max. A solid 3.5 out of 5

Awsome pics everybody just one question though for those who have it... is Bizarro on a newer thinner body? In the angles of the shots it looks like his lats aren't that big compared to the Superman I have next to my computer. Then again it could be an optical illusion or different suit material used for this figure compared to the Superman. Either way, Biz is on my list.
