I still don't quite understand their hard on for NBA. To me, this line should be TAS focused, with an occasional NBA variant.

I don't think they have a hard-on for either style? It is an equal split. Each wave has 3 of 1 design, 1 of the other.

I just love the idea that, as far as TNBA goes, we'll have the entire Batfamily by wave 5, with the exception of Alfred. Batman, Robin, Batgirl, and Nightwing will look awesome together.

They've pretty much blew their load on TNBA anyway. All of the iconic hero characters (Batman, Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl and the Creeper) are done. Thankfully it was only one season so other than beady eyes Joker, bald head Riddler, little white/blue faced midget Catwoman, proper Penguin and a few others, they're pretty much there.

And there are some secondary characters we honestly we just do not need 2 versions of. Like Montoya and Bullock. I actually like the NBA designs (not as much as BTAS admittedly)... but I would have a real hard time forking over the cash for NBA versions of those 2. I pretty much only "need" them in BTAS style.

Ha! My oldest son said in the car today after I showed him the new figures that he is all-in "until they make the fat guy from The Forgotten".

I was actually going to say something about white haired Wayne with a spring-loaded "hot box" but I thought it would be taking it a little too far. Honestly, though, those are some of the best episodes, IMO. The Forgotten is amazeballs. It's like Cool Hand Luke starring Batman althewhile providing a thoughtful and relevant commentary about poverty and human trafficking...in a 20 minute children's show. It's still mindboggling when I think of the kind of content that was regularly featured on this show. The Underdwellers, while somewhat fantastical, tackled child labor and slavery, and it's unbelievable how they were able to walk the line and actually get this sort of stuff to air. I don't think we'll ever see another show like it.

Could Clayface get two figures? TNBA version could come with the little girl to make it unique, and the original with the usual accessories, multiple hands and a base, maybe a different facial expression.

Before any "less important" BTAS characters, I want the BTAS version of the main characters they've done in the TNBA design so far:
Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Bane, Scarecrow and Killer Croc.

Oh I preordered that batmobile from BBTS first thing today. Not missing out on that for sure.

I like the mixed variety of characters from both versions. So I'm fine with the current assortments. Although, BTAS Two-Face and Mr. Freeze are on the top of my list now.
