I'm really happy with Joke's white shin as it gives a nice contrast and that blue-ish skin for me is no, no since I saw Kenner's version years ago.

@Hydeous I tried to make the teeth lines thinner but after multiple attempts to draw the thin, straight lines I gave up and compromised with the below (anyway the lines are thinner to what they were before )

How in the world did you fix the hair at this scale
How did you flare it out

I just noticed that. It seems the top of the nose is pointier too.

Your modifications are making me lose interest in the production figures more and more each day. Right now, the only figure I see myself purchasing is Man-Bat.

zelu, your Joker is 10x better than the production version. Seriously, great work. THAT is what we should have gotten. You nailed the eyes, flared out hair and fuller lips.


I can't even look at the original production version to be honest. It looks horrible.

Never really liked the prototype either. It looked a little bit better at the shows, but it was still an odd looking head. I would have been fine with it though, had the production head lived up to it. Now that it's actually worse, I can't even look at it.


I remember photoshopping it the day the first pics were revealed.

Do you have any good reference pics, I'm thinking of repainting the whole figure when I get him.

Thanks guys!! I posted the that before but this is what I did to Joker: " I re sclupted the nose and jaw line making the cheeks more visible. I cut the top part of his lip making the smile bigger and showing more teeth on top and I also re sculpted the hair a bit. I painted the entire head with all the details"

The new hair and nose has been sculpted with "FIXIT Sculpt" clay and sanded even before paints.

I still think that Joker is not bad and I hope that you guys will get slightly better paint job to the one I had. In general I'm very happy with this line and I hope they will continue making them and maybe with some improvements. So far what has been announced makes me pretty exited but let's see how will it go
