FWIW, many online retailers will do exchanges too. Still not the same as picking it out in person of course, but if there's large paint issues BBTS should exchange for you.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I was tired of waiting for someone else to compare the Kenner New Batman Adventures Batmobile to the DC Collectibles figures, so I decided to buy one and show everyone for myself.

It looks as if the figures could fit inside but would take some modding, cutting the bottom out and redecoing the interior.

I wonder if this is in scale to the show though? It looks close but I am unsure?

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Got in my shipment from BBTS yesterday! Included both Wave 1 and 2. Only issue across all the figures was Joker had some bad paint, so I got an email out to BBTS about getting an exchange. These figures are really a great line.

Now to get rid of some of those old Kenner/Mattel figures :)

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I have to say as much as I like the turn around images on the stands that I really hate the stands for these figures. They get in the way a lot (particularly the ones that you can extend the waist grabber forwards and backwards) and the waist grabbers almost seem like they help the figures fall over in some instances. I have them all standing on their own at the moment and I'm just hoping that they stay standing. Catwoman seems to be the problem figure and likes to fall easily unless you lean the figure against something.

Preach!
I hate the waist grabber, but I kinda like the stands with the turn around images. I have my Catwoman standing on her stand and leaning against the stick (so to say) without the waist grabber, so she doesn't fall nor has something getting in her way.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I just made room for the latest wave of figures. I really love how large Man-Bat is.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Oooooh. *Eyes glaze over* So pretty...

:lol

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Got these yesterday. Good paint, no breaks. I do not like the stands that are with Batman and Robin, they sit to far back. After my collection room is finished set up I will post loose pics. The white stands on a dark stained shelf looks very cool, makes the figures pop.

FullSizeRender.jpg New to the site. Just wanted to post a quick pick of custom display stands I have recently made with the title cards for each figure.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Head's up party people... Creeper is on the shipping list for next week at my comic shop!

Sallah

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Oh didn't expect Creeper to be out so soon. I should place my order online for the new few waves. Do we have an idea of what the order of figures coming out are?

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Yes: Ask DC Collectibles: Quality Control, Sculpting Actors, New Products and More! | DC Comics

"Poison Ivy will be released later in 2015 as we want to be sure that her smaller joints are working perfectly. Wave 3A will now feature Killer Croc and the Creeper and will release in May 2015 while Wave 3B will feature Poison Ivy, Robin (from The New Batman Adventures) and Harley Quinn and release in June 2015."

Alright thanks! I remember reading that article I guess I just forgot. So I'm guessing Killer Croc shouldn't be too far away either?

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Wow! Harley is coming only in June... :(

Well, at least she is coming around the same time as Bats, Penguin and Riddler (July)... :hi5:

So, for the ones, including me, who are only buying TAS figures, we are going to have a big break between figures. Good for saving money! :lol

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

DCC just announced an action figure line for Justice League:Gods & Monsters, which seems to be compatible and part of the same style as the Batman:TAS figures. That gets me excited because it kind of opens up the possibilities of other, more traditional lines, like Justice League, Batman Beyond, and Superman:TAS:

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

The figures are at the end of the video, by the way.

I'm hoping DCC does eventually branch off into the other Timm inspired lines, particularly Batman Beyond given the fact that
Hasbro never did it justice back in the day.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Yeah, I love the few figures Mattel did, but I'd love an Old Bruce, Ace, Terry-as-Batman, and plainclothes Terry figures. Other villains, Max & Dana, Barbara, etc from the show would be nice too, but those four top my list.
