Looks like some folks are having trouble with the terminology,

Reissue=better plastic and no peg holes

Rerelease=same figure released again due to high demand/sales.

I think that's right,lol.

In the model cars/planes/whatever hobby we use the terms "reissue" and "modified reissue." Don't see why this would or should be any different.

I just received the Phantasm/Batman set. What a great set. My only complaint is no unmasked head. I assume that will be down the line?

They mentioned at ToyFair last year that they would be releasing her separately unmasked because the proportions would look off if they did it with this one (as is the case with the original toy from the movie)

Its a paint that changes colors based off light and angles. I think it would work perfect for his highlight effect.

See that's what I mean, if a company could try something like that look how much the figure pops to capturing the animated look

And this is the bad proto type, notice the peg holes on the shoulders

Oh, that's a great idea with the iridescent paint. We basically need the acrylic equivalent of ghost pearl blue auto paint.

Well, I finally started collecting these. I'd been on the fence about it for a while, but a friend got me the New Batman Adventures Batman figure for Christmas, and that kind of helped convince me. I've since gotten the Mr. Freeze figure, and am trying to decide which ones to get next. I really like the designs of most of the New Batman Adventures ones, but some of the Batman The Animated Series figures ones are pretty cool too. Looking forward to seeing which characters they make next.
