I saw both EG and IW recently, and I have to say that I prefer IW. I think IW is more fun, it has a better pace, and Thanos is a highlight, along with the Ebony Maw. It has a better opening, middle part, and the third act has a double battle fallowed by Thanos arriving on earth and doing the first (and best, imo) snap.
After watching EG again at home, I felt it was a bit slow and there was too much talking about stuff we already know. Once they time travel it picks up, but getting there is rough. The final battle is still cool, but I don't think it translates well to TV. It was meant to be seen on the big screen and that's a moment I'll never forget. It's also visually very dark, so things don't stand out much. IW was more colorful. I still like EG as a way to end the first chapter of the MCU, but IW to me is the superior film and experience.
