mayweather is a pu$$y and doesn't like getting hit and i will never pay to see another fight of his.
regarding the announcer's comment that mixed martial arts(UFC) is not in the same league, skill wise, as boxing. you are a freakin' idiot. i love boxing and watch it whenever it is on t.v. but punching(boxing) is just one tiny skill required for mixed martial arts, whereas in boxing it is the only factor.

Mayweather is NOT fun to watch in the slightest, we watched the fight with about 30 friends and all of us thought that De La Hoya won. Based on points and agression it wasn't even close - and to de-throne the champ it shouldn't be as close as it was.

Weak a$$ fight. No drama, no knockdowns, not even a hard shot to either one's noggin. It was a draw. Neither one showed heart.

the reason there were not knockdowns is because mayweather was running the whole fight throwing his weaka$$ punches. what a pu$$. no wonder he doesn't have the bank account oscar does. why don't you retire mayweather with your undeated record and quit wasting our time.

Boxing is crap for me, It's all about Ultimate Fighting...Fedor, Silva's, ETC!!!! Those are real fights! 
I hate De La Hoya, but I was hoping he would win this fight... but he definitely didnt IMO.
Almost everytime DeLaHoya would flurry his shots werent hitting. Mayweather was clearly much faster than him.
Mayweather just fought a counter puncher's fight. Same way RJ used to fight when he was good. Counter punchers work because theyre faster than theyre opponent.
Cant argue with those punch stats. They were lop-sided.
and like I said I was wanting Oscar to win.

Big deal, he beat a 34 year old De La Hoya (in his prime, he would've wiped the floor with Mayweather)

Agreed!!
Boxing has no more "great" fighters. I lost total interest in the sport about 15 years ago.

To me, Mayweather isn't a fighters. He's a little b#$@h. It hits you once, then runs away for 45 seconds. Hits you again, then runs away and he wins round? 
Mayweather thinks that because he is a champion and undefeated that everybody should love him. He's an overrated, egotistical hack of a "fighter". Plus, what De La Hoya said at the end of the fight, that "you have to definitively defeat a champion to take his belt." Mayweather, IMO, didn't do that. He may have outboxed De La Hoya, but he certainly didn't defeat him.
