Gonna be a large scale pain in the ass. About 25 mins into my zealot run through. Got 16 nodes I really won't use other than to get into doors cause my weapons are ready to go.

I was gonna start Hardcore today...but I didn't, instead I cowered in Multiplayer

I don't blame ya there. After my run through on zealot I will be hitting up the MP for a bit. Just to take a break from SP and think about how much I want to piss myself off.

I'm on Ch 8 right now and am having a blast but and maybe it's just me but I don't find this as creepy or intense as the first. Maybe it cause I've played the first one an ass load of times so I kinda know what to expect but overall I don't feel as creeped out. The only part and enemies I find creepy in this one so far are the exploding babies and the nursery part.

Chapter 10 is the creepiest part of the whole game. So much atmosphere and impending dread.

Just beat the game. Overall it was a great game but I gotta confess I still prefer the first. I only jumped maybe a total of 8 times (yes I actually counted) whereas the first made me jump like a 5 year old girl. Again maybe it's because I knew what to expect but for me at least, it just didn't have that sense of dread, creepiness and urgency as the first. Not to mention I'm still not used to Isaac being such a chatter mouth either. Still it was a great game nonetheless and am very satisfied with it overall.

Also the ending was great.

And HT REALLY needs to obtain the license for both games. A 1/6 Isaac in Lvl. 3 suit from DS1 is a grail figure for me.

Good work on Hardcore...I just got done with Zealot last night and will be attempting to start hardcore tonight. Did you just stick with certain weapons the entire time? I'm thinking plasma cutter and force gun..
