I'd have preferred the selfie stick in the sword hand as the machine gun looks cool. But still looks class

I just love everything about it. Detail wise, this is on par with XM and for presumably a much cheaper price. Very appreciative of this from Sideshow.

I am worried about QC. I plan on ordering early and opening it early when it arrives.

Yeh totally agree, Sculpt is on par with XM but not Production. Prices these days arent really that cheap SS being $500US - $550US and XM being about $550US - $600US and QC is pretty much not even a question with XM. Talking about retail not shipping.

Im not appreciative at all until QC is on par. It can be done. Costs have gone up with SS because apparently Chinas costs have gone up stupidly according to SS but QC has gone considerably down. Some pieces come out aight, but its never "what you see is what you get".

This piece even though it looks next level epic, SS havent even clocked any dynamic peices to be ready for this. The last Spiderman PF i dont think they hit it out of the park. Some pieces of the Base like the Crane is lightweight Crappy Material - the known paint smudges and questionable paint apps. And its light weight like most of their pieces. If XM is pretty much the same price now, Weight, Paint, Material and PACKAGING should be on the same level too.

And the HUUUGE ES that will come with this wont help with anything other than SS filling up their deep pockets.

I actually agree with a lot of what you said here. :lecture

Tough love for Sideshow.

The one thing about XM is that they're in the factory daily inspecting quality and they inspect until its shipped out. Someone said along time ago sideshow does not go to the factories they have a production pieces sent to them and they inspect that. I don't know if that's true or not but if sideshows not going to the factory and inspecting their product that's really bad.

Even though I don't have any XM products, judging by their customers reactions, I would believe it. I've yet to read a string of QC incidents from XM - not saying that they don't exist, but I can't think of a time that I've read about them.

I own three of the statues the boxes are tanks.with strong Styrofoam not that [emoji90] that breaks apart. Every piece hand wrapped in tissue paper and then in plastic.

That's what I want from Sideshow. And I really do think Sideshow delivers many of times - but I can honestly say that for every 10 statues I buy, I probably have to 'report' issues with CS on 3-4 of them on average. I don't think XM customers have that problem.

I still love Sideshow though - but it does get frustrating. And it didn't use to be that way for me and my expectations of them have been the same, so....

I hope not!

Erick Sosa's new company Prototypez Studios is releasing their first statue 1/4 Ryu. I think what he is doing is mind boggling and shows us also that not only XM can do it, but anyone can. He comes from the US same as SS and he RECENTLY stated that he is leaving for china to PERSONALLY QC every piece himself to make sure customers get what they see in the photos. His QC team has already mentioned too that they can better the Prototype, and the Prototype was already insane!

We need to keep comparing and supporting the QC side of businesses. Most Prices now are the same but QC isn't. It all comes down to what company are banking most of the profits and what companies are giving back to the customer.

I dont even know of a product from SS (in recent years....YEARS) that come out just like the Proto (pics SS love to market to us). It's now this new age SS idea that "It's kinda close enough, wait let me check for damage... nope.. OK... let me check for weird paint lines...Mmmmm ok its abit here and there.... well compared to crap people have gotten I got a good one so I'm keeping it". Then they jusify the packaging, weight, materials to what you pay for is what you get.. Well not anymore. What we pay for is Pure BS. Its pretty much the same price as the XM who are leading the QC charge. For them it was simple --- "Let's Capitalise on the QC front and make bank".

Then you get Igo on statueforums pretty much mocking collectors views on leans, bad design choices, quality and other members just laugh it off because they are so stoked to have a Rep on the forums. You don't read comments like that from XM or PTZ. No way! Pisses me off. Thats why they get away with anything.

Dont compare to the Crap. Compare to the Proto. If you wanna be the best compare with the best, it's that simple. Other companies are doing it, its thats simple again.

Bring back the Realistic ES sizes. Im sure people would either not care or appreciate it. These ES sizes are so mental. In...the thousands!
