This series could go either way. Depends which Spurs show up. The ones that played last night, or the ones that have been playing the past few weeks.

I think "The past few weeks" Spurs will show up most of the series. I think there best bet of winning is if they play Horry and Bowen all game and let them do what tey do best (kicking, punching, showing):D

Newsflash, no team is squeaky clean. Everyone does ^^^^ like that, even Phoenix:

*Que Phoenix fans whining about rough play* :violin

I give this series to the team w/ Home court advantage.. Spurs in 6..

Popovich is a genius.. Manu has been resting.. Spurs play nasty defense = Bye Suns..

:lol I didnt know Bell and Kobe were lovers. Wonder what Pau has to say to that. He will propably get some bling-bling from Kobe so he won't break up with him:D

And i was just refering to Bowen's history of "defence" and Horry's series changing, championship winning move last year:D

Suns in 6.

Anyone see what Okur did last night to Oberto? I guarantee no one is calling him dirty today. If one of The Spurs had done that, you would be hearing people saying how dirty they are. Do people call Dallas dirty? Dirk Nowitski threw Kirelinko to the floor this year and got suspended for it. I also remember a couple years ago Jason Terry punching one of the Spurs in the groin. Are people calling Dallas dirty? How about Kobe with his whole arm flailing ^^^^? What about Golden State? I seem to remember Baron Davis last year having a pretty bad foul on Derek Fisher in the playoffs and if I am not mistaken they were getting techs left and right. Then there is Raja Bell clotheslining Kobe. But I am sure he is just considered a gritty defensive player. Every team has players that do ^^^^ like that and play rough. It is basketball. People single out The Spurs because they beat Phoenix last year and people attribute it to Horry. If Amare had kept his cool and not left the bench, maybe he would not have been suspended. That rule had been around a long while and players had been suspended for less. If he wasn't aware of that, it is his fault, not The Spurs.

I know what you were referring to, my point is, Phoenix fans act like they have never done anything questionable, ever. As I pointed out in my last post, Horry's move wouldn't have changed ^^^^ if Amare actually kept his cool. Instead he and Phoenix fans want to blame everybody but Amare. Hell, Phoenix was up 20, at home, and still lost game 5.

I'm just messing wit'cha. Hopefully psyching you out so much that the Spurs would get psych'd out and it would be an easy round for the Suns:D

Friends?:grouphug

The teams I'm picking to come out of the first round:

Lakers (wheres the defense Nuggets?)

Rockets (long shot this year)

Suns (i don't think the Spurs are as good as last year)

Mavericks (Hornets have no playoff experience and not much of a bench)

If this line up holds true then it would definitely be a revenge first round since there's bad blood with Rockets vs. Jazz and Spurs vs. Suns. And does anyone really care about the East anymore? Anyway should be a great weekend.:emperor

Theres an East?..

I agree w/ all those picks aside from that I have the Spurs beating the Suns..

I'm a little biased on the Rockets beating the Jazz this year but I really think that Derek Fisher was part of the reason the Jazz beat the Rockets last year. Houston wasn't a very deep team either, their bench was horrid last year. Jazz sucking on the road this year too.

The Spurs this year don't seem like the same team, except that game last night they actually played really well which could be a sign of things to come. Is it just me or does Duncan look like he might be playing injured? Suns better get a hand in the face of Brent Barry or they will pay for it.

Lakers aren't even worth talking about, they will dominate the Nuggets unless someone on the Lakers get injured in that series. Plus the Lakers have liquor as the 6th man against Carmello.:rotfl

Mavs are underrated in their series, but inconsistency like getting beat by the Portland and the Sonics in the past few days makes me wonder about them.

sure every player has their moment...but with the spurs it seems a lot more often than the norm.

Actually it is really only Bowen. I totally understand the gripe on Bowen. Horry had his one with the hip check. What else has he done since? Show me any other incidents with Parker, Duncan, Ginobili, or anybody else on that team besides Bowen.

It is only Bowen and Horry. You never see Duncan, Parker, or Ginobili intentionally hurting anyone. But those two guys especially Horry are scumbags.
