Wouldn't be too surprised if they used that as a reference.
This is the face the face is meant to be referenced from, but it kinda looks like a mix of the two.

Kinda wish it had the saliva like in the reference. I wonder if I could add that to it somehow?

Link can be found here. You'll need a Chinese shopping agent, as Xianyu doesn't ship international or allow foreigners to buy (probably for the best, since a fair bit of communication might be needed).
It's 220 yuan (without domestic shipping) for just the faceplate with no eyes or hair. The listing says they can make a non-movable eye version, so I've tried to order that version through Superbuy today, but asked them to let me know how much it'll cost before they process the order. I can let you know how much more that would cost in total once I know (but I can't imagine it would be much more).

So the material for the seamless upper bodies for these guys is pretty crazy. I had my L crouched in the chair since I got him a few months ago and I decided to change his pose up to this:

His tummy had creases on it from being crouched in the chair for so long. But this material is really gel-like, and I massaged the areas for a few seconds and let gravity and time do the rest and all the creases went away.

I really wish there was a company out there that would make full seamless bodies with this material, because TBLeague has the body diversity, but their quality is just kinda cheap. Also they haven't put out a male body since the M35 and that's sad too

if you have clear plastic runners you can use the heat method and stretch it out and reshape and make it removable.

Whoops, forgot to provide updates about the custom head sculpt.
It took a little bit over 2 months for it to be complete and arrive at the warehouse.
Full price ended up being 250 yuan (220 + 10 shipping + 20 service fee), then with some international shipping on top (I was shipping lots of items at the same time, so probably worked out to roughly 12.50 yuan).
It ended up including non-movable eyes for free, so that was fine with me.

Haven't tried it on the figure itself yet, but probably will soon.
It didn't include a magnet on the top, but luckily one of the head sculpts I got with the figure has a loose magnet, so should be able to use that.

Not sure if that would work for this, since it seems like the eyes are just painted on the face.
