I watched this last night and thought it was decent. There are some cool ideas and high concepts early on but it seems to be holding back the rest of the movie. It also felt like Ryuk could have had a lot more depth.

Its just the start. Wingard wrote a treatment for a trilogy which explores the ongoing battle between Light "The Good Person" vs. Light - The Sociopath.

Source? Or did you get it from the same place that told you Spider-Man is coming out with a movie that will be rated R.

Also there is no battle anymore. The charm of death note is that L didn't know light was Kira and so they played a game of cat and mouse throughout the anime. L knows who light is so that whole battle is over and light is to stupid to hide who he is. He pretty much revealed himself in his first confrontation with light .

What is the sequel gonna be about his life in jail?

why is everyone gang bangin poor snikt1950? So what if he has different taste in movies then others, just let the poor man be. Nothing anyone is saying is going to change his mind or opinion so just let bygones be bygones. Why keep hammering a dead horse, it is what it is. If he specifically calls you out or attacks your opinion then have at it but the end result will be the same.. He aint gonna change his mind, nor should he or anyone else. Its like discussing politics; its an endless loop, there will be no winner because the neither side will ever concede. Why waste your time trying to convince him that he is wrong or has bad taste in movies. The great thing about the internet is anyone is free to speak (freedom of speech), the bad thing is people get to express their opinion on things, and opinions are like *******s some stink more then others, when it stinks then you get away from the smell, not sit there and argue how bad it smells. Trying to change the way people think is simply a lost cause. Bullying him is not the answer either, again people should feel free, to express their opinions without feeling attacked. You dont have to agree with it and you are free to say that but i think people have already got that point across

I actually liked this movie. It was different and the death scenes, while I couldn't look at them, were very entertaining.

I hear you, he asked for it by saying annoying children, thus referring to a bunch of peoples opinions, but once everyone started the gang bang it was over for him anyway. He just kept saying **** to defend himself. Maybe in the future he will learn how to get his point across by addressing single posts without saying things that attack a group of people's opinions all at once thereby inciting a lynch mob.

I dont spend much time in the marvel movie forums, does he troll there a lot?? I frequent the DC movies section more often and I know he spends a lot of time defending them from the Marvel trolls. I like the DC movies contrary to popular opinion (well accept for suicide **** squad), so maybe that why nothing he has said in that section of the forums has clued me into his ways. In either case, we shouldn't gang bang him non stop people already got their point across

He sticks up for ANY badly received movie. It's his "thing". He rants about the source material, gets scans served to him that disprove of his claims, and then stops responding.
