I actually liked this movie. It was different and the death scenes, while I couldn't look at them, were very entertaining.

Also there is no battle anymore. The charm of death note is that L didn't know light was Kira and so they played a game of cat and mouse throughout the anime. L knows who light is so that whole battle is over and light is to stupid to hide who he is. He pretty much revealed himself in his first confrontation with light .

What is the sequel gonna be about his life in jail?

The director did say he had a trilogy in mind. Thats true

Well there u go,
The guy from the Guest WAS a closer Light than this movie was. Light should have been more serious and calculating.
The actor of The Guest would have made an amazing light.
Even the actor looked more like light.

There are a lot of places to explore where to take Light. And ultimately the series is sort of about almost his downfall as a character. This is sort of the beginning of it or the origin of it. There are definitely lots of places to go, and we know generally where we would take it.

Good luck with that. This movie is hated. What else can they do? The whole point of Death note is game of cat and mouse. A strategy between two geniuses. Now that they both know who the other is then what's the point? But i'm sure Mr. Snikkers will say otherwise.

The cat got stuck on his ****, and he couldn't remove it. He called his parents, they took him to the hospital, and in the end they got it out. Everyone knew him as the cat****er, his parents stopped talking to him, and he eventually pawned his stuff and drove to Oklahoma. Now he has a 13.5$/h job and is doing okay. Good ending, considering another guy in Norway or something "live-story-timed" his suicide through 4chan. Thing is, he could've just killed the cat, put it in a box and been done with it.
