It's an awesome movie if you view it as braindead popcorn eye candy.

It is a fun movie with lots of great action sequences.

Death Race is my guilty pleasure for movies in 2008.

It's thoroughly entertaining and I highly recommend it.

I got the Blu-ray for Christmas, but haven't been able to watch it yet.

I absolutely love the new Death Race
and the original Death Race 2000.
I've even met David Carradine and had
him sign a photo of himself dressed as
Frankenstein. (He wrote, "Road Rage Rules!"
and signed it to me.
Anyway, here's a custom 1/6 Frankenstein
(Jason Statham Death Race version) I was
working on. It's not finished, but you'll get
the idea. I still want to make "Case" and
his car...if possible....yeah, right.

Rented this on Blu Ray from Blockbuster for $1.99 and it was a fun, dumb popcorn type movie. For $2, no complaints!
