VOD/Downloading will never fully replace physical media, because consumers like owning the actual product, with artwork, etc.

I could imagine in the future where instead of downloading a movie or music to a hard drive you could download it to a small disc or something that would be in your collection or something like that.

Or we can just beam them into our homes. Since the real issue is getting the content to the consumer.
