How in the world is it whining when this piece is getting ripped to shreds by most collectors on multiple boards? It's a bad statue. It looks nothing like a classic DS nor is it a New 52 DS. The pose is bad, he looks like a cosplayer, there's no decent switch outs (unmasked COH or guns), and the costume is hideous. I sincerely doubt you'll ever even pick this PF up (pics or it didn't happen). Especially after Prime 1 reveals their 1/4 New 52 DS. Prime's DS will easily smoke this Stroker PF.

I'm not paying over $500 for chopped liver. I'll pay more for steak. I'm a HUGE fan of the character and there's no way I could settle for the PF. I'm not a fan of the New 52 either but the Prime DS will be on my radar. If it looks spectacular, I'll bite. Even so, I'll never stop hoping for a 1/4 classic Perez statue.
I said it sounds like whining, not that it is whining. Most people are full of shat, I try not to get on hate trains or hype trains when it comes to statues. I wanna see this in person.
The only way I wont pick this up is if the Prime 1 statue fits with SS 1/4 DC villains line and if they blow me away with the pose and overall design.
Sorry, but it sounds like heavy criticism to me, not whining. The P1 DS will blow the doors of this cosplay Deathstroker PF. It won't take much.

Their NYCC display is pretty small. They didn't have Zatanna either. Just glad I got to see Swamp Thing in person. They had Voltron because they were doing a giveaway. They also had Skeletor and He-Man but I rather they put newer statues.

Are you sure? I've heard nothing about. 1/4 Scale Deathstroke from them. Plus, their new 52 stuff is pretty weak so far imo - green lantern and superman. Loved the flash tbf though.
Yes, they are releasing a New 52 Deathstroke. I saw some digital WIP shots of his face on the other forum. While I understand that Prime's 1/4 New 52 pieces aren't setting the world on fire...do you really think their Deathstroke will look worse than the PF? I'm not sure that's even possible. What would it hurt to wait and see anyway? It's not like the Deathstroker PF will be selling out any time soon.
You can see a WIP shot of the Prime NEW 52 Deathstroke on page 3 of the Prime 1 section over at Statue Forum. Not sure if anyone started a thread here.

Now I'm thinking I should sell my Deathstroke prime 1! I'd much rather have a good 1/4 Scale to go with my actually 1/4 scale stuff rather than have this random huge one on the landing
I have the Prime 1 AO Deathstroke and I absolutely love it. I have every intention of picking up a 1/3 scale Batman (if Prime ever gets around to a Arkham Asylum/City Bats) and displaying the AO Deathstroke with him (I even have an empty spot right next to my AO DS just waiting for Bats). However, keep in mind you're talking with a HUGE DS fan. I have zero issues having 2 large DS statues in my collection. Hell, Tweeterhead even announced they are going to release a 1/6 classic Perez Deathstroke in their DC Super Powers lineup. Don't think for a minute that I won't be all over that as well given my love for the classic Perez costume.
OK, back to your thoughts now. I personally think the New 52 Deathstroke and the AO DS are fairly similar. They both have a very practical and tactical look to them. In that case, I can see a collector wanting to sell the AO DS to pick up the New 52 DS. It makes perfect sense, especially if you don't plan on buying any other 1/3 statues for your collection and your collection consists of mainly 1/4 pieces. That would make the AO DS an oddball piece in any collection. So yeah, I can definitely see you selling the AO DS and replacing it with a 1/4 scale New 52 DS. Think about it. You can have one 1/4 DS you like in your collection and more importantly, you won't have to settle for the inferior Deathstroker PF. You can have 1 (hopefully cool looking) DS statue in your collection and call it a day. This isn't an option for me because I absolutely love the AO DS and can't sell him. However, this option could easily work for you.
