Another recent policy change is that SS no longer gives websites commisions on 1/6 figures sold through banner links. I wonder what's in store next?
I think equating the growing stock in Sideshow's warehouse to flippers and cancelholics is a bit naive. There are uniquely justifiable reasons for each piece that's sitting there, rotting.

Oh most definitely! QC does play a big role as well and I agree with that.
Dude, it's the #1 (by far) factor. The sad thing is that they seemingly have tried everything else before truly fixing the QC issues. And that's a damn shame, because it reflects very poorly on the notion of whether they have any pride in their own products and makes it look like all they're really focused on are margins and bottom lines.

Sideshow really is a great company that just can't get out of their own damn way sometimes.
Dude, it's the #1 (by far) factor. The sad thing is that they seemingly have tried everything else now before just fixing the QC issues and their flawed/dated production process. And that's a damn shame, because it reflects very poorly on the notion of whether they have any pride in their own products and makes it look like all they're really focused on are margins and bottom lines.
I've been wondering about this for a while though. From what I've seen, I actually wonder if they even acknowledge that there's anything wrong with their product, or solely place blame on the collectors for not buying it. We've seen this attitude rear it's ugly head every time they cancel a line.
Really? That is interesting. Just the impending doom that SSC is getting out of the 1/6th business.
Well I think QC and just people not having the money at the time are probably tied for #1 for reason of canceling.
I wonder though if people actually click that or if they do, like I have many times in the past, just click the first button which is "personal financial reasons" just to hurry up and get the order canceled. I wonder if QC was the majority of the cancels they received if they would have gone another way given the data in hand....

Kinda ____ed up if the production piece's quality doesn't match the prototype's.
Because poking your head in any one of the product threads here wouldn't have given you everything you need to know? Even Sideshow is capable of telling between the douchy people who're never satisfied with anything and a general dissatisfaction with a finished product. And while we don't represent the majority of the market, we do represent a vast customer base.

It's speculation this a new policy anyways, it's for one product that is going to be a hard sell.
