Anyone see this yet? And is the 3D worth it?

3D is absolutely worth it. It is a lot of fun this movie. the closing is fantastic. I laughed til my throat hurt

Went to see this today and I loved it! It was very funny and touching and Agnes (IT'S SO FLUFFY!!!) is adorable!

Most will want to compare this to a Pixar movie, which is unfair, but I really liked it and recommend it.

I took my kids to see it today and my 11 yr old said he thinks it was one of the funniest movies of all time. I won't go that far but it was a great movie, funny, touching and very well paced.

The 3-D here is very well done. There's some gimmick use, but it works, and the rest gives the film depth and separation. It looks great.

This flick is an easy 9/10 for me. The first half hour is a bit slow, and had me worried - in the early going, you've seen most of the funny parts, and it drags a bit. But then the second half really kicks in, and by the end it was great. Carell created a great character in Gru - this is probably my favorite movie he's starred in (although I haven't seen Date Night yet).

I saw this film over the weekend in 2D.

The first half of the film is horrible and maybe unsuitable for children. Some of the gags are a bit too over the top.

The second half of the film was great with almost (almost) Pixar quality emotion.

Simply put, if it weren't for the henchmen, this movie would have been a straight-to-DVD release.

I'd say wait for Blu-ray or digital download.

I really enjoyed it, but I don't think the 3D was that necessary. It had a few moments where it was cool, but that's it. I love the Minions!

really like this, a great light family comedy. i'm not sure what wasn't kid rated in the earlier half of the show cause most if not all the kids in the theater i was at were laughing through most of the film.
