I'm old school, I'll just throw Destiny into that monstrosity and watch it catch on fire. I'll have to dig it out of my basement first though.

Got into the Destiny Alpha--it plays really well, I'm guessing the alpha content is what they're demoing at E3. If you liked Halo then you'll like this. It's like they built on top of Halo and improved quite a bit.

Also, the speeder bike you get is really really fun to drive--it kind of seems like the game is doing some stuff to make it more realistic in how it moves, so it isn't moving like vehicles usually do in a game, but you still have lots of control. I'd almost buy the game just for that because it really is fun.

Speeder biker is very cool; no inital weapons for it, though. I did a fireteam strike and holy cow! Level 8 baddies are tough...and I was level 6

I found some area that had enemies that were so high up that it just had a question mark for their level--got out of there real fast, thank god for the speeder bike

I randomly received a First Look Alpha code for Destiny on PS4 from Amazon. I don't own a PS4 though, so if anyone wants the code just PM me. First PM gets it.

The game visuals are stunning and I know it's only an alpha build but Destiny doesn't feel like a 500 Million dollar game. It's an MMO I mean you can dance in the hub city.

500 million was just the marketing budget, the actual game probably cost like 50 million (which is still very high for a game)

Im playing the alpha right now. Got the invite/code on friday. So far it doesn't feel like a next gen game. Played about 30 mins of it. Controls feel right...but theres little to keep me engaged in playing it.
