On the run.
According to the FB page, out next summer. I'd much rather have DMC3... but this is better than the reboot remaster.

I had it for the PC but I played it halfway I think. Must be the hype from MGS4 back then. Was this good?

It's just... okay. At least it was Reubon Langdon as Dante. You basically do half the game as Nero, and where he left off you back track as Dante.

The story wasn't really about Dante, more about Nero. It kinda was just a little side adventure Dante got involved with, nothing that really moved his own story forward. It didn't do what they hoped, so they opted for a reboot... which did even worse than DMC4.

I wasn't happy with DMC4 taking the spotlight off Dante, but I still thought the game was great. Now if only they'd make a proper fifth one.

Reminds me of Tomb Raider Underworld, which came out around the same time as DMC4 I think. It didn't sold well so SquareEnix rebooted it. Too bad I found out too little too late that it was actually a great game, I ended up liking it more than the reboot.

It's funny all these companies are quick to hit the reboot button if things go wrong. I just can't stand the overly redesigned iterations of classic characters. :lol

I'll give DMC4 a try, simply because it has the Dante I know and love.

Capcom truly has their head in their ass. Why re-release failures of games? The Resident Evil Remake is the only thing they got going for them right now, and from what I've read on The Horror.com, they changed things... they didn't need to be changed. Like gunfire sounds for example.

Maybe they'll use this to gauge interest in bringing back the original series. Like what Konami did for ZOEHD. Hope it works out better than it did for ZOE

One thing i didn't like was Dantes' face, it looked like some other guy :-S. It also didn't suit Langdon -at all. Hes better as a youthful Dante

Haven't played this game since my one playthrough back when it first came out. Looking forward to giving it another shot. I don't remember it being very enjoyable. But at least it'll feel fresh since I haven't really put much time into it.

Just reboot the series again with Langdon, it will fly off the shelves like DMC3 did.

I still remember people bitching about how hard it was (first version). So much that Capcom had to re-release the same game with a "***** difficulty". Those were the days, NG, DMC. Just pure action porn.

Lady and Trish finally playable. Well, Trish without re-using an exact moveset and animations from a previous games :lol

Bring it on Capcom. I'm game. Also yeah, the series needs a proper 5th entry...and maybe a proper 2nd one. >__>
