Sgt. James Doakes / ... (25 episodes, 2006-2012) :panic:

So that means he's only in 2 episodes this season because he was in 12 in season 1 , and 11 in season 2

Would be funny if Doakes starts "speaking" to Dexter and telling him to off LaGuerta. :rotfl

Just checked his page. It says he was in 24 episodes already (12/12 Season 1/2). That 25th episode is S7E12 airing December 16 i.e. the season 7 finale.

And it's called: "Surprise, Motherf--ker!" :lol

What a great episode this season is really shaping up to be a great 1.

I lold at deb, I must be the worst ********* detective ever

Okay, I still have problems with the way they're handling Deb. Now they're turning her into a makeshift Dr. Phil serial killer therapist. There is still no reason for her to help Dex in covering up Travis' murder. Now, instead of playing it like she's pinned into a corner with an outright killer, she wants to mommy Dexter (among other things lol).

Aside from that, at least he's being forced to focus and hone his skills. Lewis may be a cartoony nerd, but it's fun to see Dexter find new creative ways to play with his food.

That toy review turned sex tape was hilarious!!!

Now that would be fun to watch!

Dexter basically just dissed the whole community here tonight. Little in joke from Showtime for the bootlegs maybe? :lol

I guess Dark Passenger and Mr Ecko have to rethink their whole collecting toys thing now :rotfl

Where was Harrison? Is he visiting his Grandparents or something I only saw him at the end of the episode when there needed to be a reason for the babysitter to be around. All the times Dexter was settling in at Deb's place and when Deb went through Dexter's apartment he was no where to be found.

He was in his own apartment in episode 1 :lol

Yeah he need Jamie to watch him because Deb was babysitting Dex :lol

I guess Deputy Chief Matthews is not in season 7 , i checked the Dexter IMBD

Last season didn't dip too badly until a few episodes in, from what I remember - so I'm still braced for a let down.

But so far, I've liked both episodes.

this episode was great. I thought the first one was kind of whatever...jennifer carpenter sorta carried it. I feel like that last season was just sort of carrying over. It's nice to be in the swing of things again. They took their time to develop things instead of making it to chaotic.

He only gets away with what newly lobotomized Deb lets him. She needs to be more self-loathing.

I mean because of what he said about toys :cuss:cuss:cuss

maybe someone reads this forum from the show, what if Dexter himself is reading our posts? :horror

This episode was better than the first one, more focused and better handled, well at least I felt that way.

Dexter needs to tell Deb he helped Lumen, I don't understand why he doesn't tell Deb these things,
he needs to tell her about Trinity too, that he killed him, seriously,

I read that Louis is only in the show for 3 episodes?
I do not know if that is true or not but it seems he will dispatched of rather quickly (but I have not checked if this is true)

The guy jumping in front of the truck was actually comedic, so was Deb running with the ice creams in her hands :lol:lol that actually made me laugh, that was pretty stupid, I mean, I understand what they guy did but it felt so silly

Oh hahaha! Now that was crossing the line! I don't know but those collectible replica slides produced a few years back caught the interest of the actual crew because they ordered a few for the actual series. Maybe that's what gave them the idea in the first place? There are also two reality shows dedicated to adult toy collecting.

At any rate, this guy had all these designer toys (statues/sculptures) in his apartment and then he's reviewing an Aquaman figure? This does not pass my nerd snuff test!

It was fun, almost enough to distract from Deb's continuing IQ reduction.

Yeah, I don't really understand why Dexter didn't drop that card yet about Deb letting him go. She already defined that in her book its "ok" to murder someone when they have it coming and thats exactly what Dexter's code is all about. I guess they have to revisit Deb now questioning Harry's teachings just like Dex did, but it seems so revisited since we've already seen Dexter go through this.

ANNND...the whole thing with LaGuerta investigating the slides on her own...
and knowing Doakes returns at the end of the season, I have assumed as a ghost, etc, but what if hes alive and has been in hiding because of people thinking hes the Bay Area Butcher??? My god this could lead into some **** next season.
