Michael C. Hall is the perfect actor for the role of Dexter, his facial expressions during Miguel's first kill were perfect. He looked like a father watching his own child being born.

well, tonights episode just blew me away.

Excellent episode tonight! The writing is so good.

It was great when Dex realized that Miguel gave Rita the same line of bs he gave him. And the shirt... I loved the little freak-out fantasy. Miguel is definitely a lot slyer than he appeared to be. I can't wait to see what happens next.

And last week's preview did give too much away. I didn't watch the one for next week.

He's definitely going to end up killing Miguel, there's no way he's going to keep going after this.

It looks like Miguel is able to out-think Dexter. I'm sure Dex will try and play games and outmaneuver him for the next couple of episodes, but to win this he's ultimately going to have to rely on his feral instincts as a killer... which may be the only area where he has an advantage.

I still have a strong feeling that Miguel has not only controlled Dexter but the Skinner and his younger brother to do his killing for him. The story has to come back to why Miguel's brother was trying to kill Freebo. Great episode still full of amazing surprises.

I thought the younger brother was just a crack head and was trying to get away with drugs without paying. Although it would be a cool twist if the brother was acting under Miguel's instructions.

Definitely a great show - the fantasy freak-out was so perfect. And now we see Dexter with a purpose - and very driven - something different from how he's usually depicted.

I agree. I think all three Prado brothers and King (the Skinner) are all tied together. I wonder what Miguel really said to King in the interrogation room when the camera was off.

He thinks Freebo killed his brother and he knows Dexter killed Freebo. I think they just were setting up so Miguel goes after King (the skinner).

Smits is the man. It's been cool to see how the fans have reacted to him, one minute you think he's cool & the next you want to see him dead. It's been back & forth all season. I know I figured he would turn out to be a good guy in the end, it's nice to have a show lead you down a certain path & then end up surprising you in the end. The Miguel-Dexter story has also brought out some interesting reactions from Dexter that we're not used to seeing. Dexter's facial reactions & inner thoughts have really run the full course of emotions this season.

It's like Dex's box of blood slides!

$30 at the Showtime store. They have lots of other DEXTER stuff, but this is by far the coolest, imho.
