Nope but the last few appearances the Muppets had on TV was with Disney's talentless tween singers...
I love Disney, but they have some pretty lame concepts too...

The muppets have always been associated with music and singers I think. Disney's stars may not be the same level as they were before so it is a step down, but at least the muppets are still getting some love.

I actually just got off of ebay and ordered a copy of Ennis's Punisher Omnibus. I got a feeling this kind of stuff is going to become hard to find.

I seriously doubt that Disney will show up at Marvel H.Q. and say stop printing this!

I truly believe that this will be nothing but good for Marvel. Now they have Disney's pockets to rely on.

Bingo. Even though Marvel Studios self finances their films they still need companies like Paramount to distribute. Now they'll only need Walt Disney Pictures to put them out.

That sounds great to me. Imagine a 5th park in FL or a 3rd in CA with a Star Wars land, a Nintendo Land, a Marvel Land, a Pixar Land....sounds like win to me?

Other than more marketing, overexposure, and an increase in licensing fees, I don't see much changing.

Although, the Marvel Max line may disappear. I may be wrong, but I don't see Disney keeping a line that shows rape, lots of cursing, graphic suicide and sex stay in a comic owned by them.

Well for starters that omnibus was already oop at least once and may still be now. But also like kibi said :

Maybe your not familar with the character of Frank Castle IC, but hes not exactly Disney friendly.

I don't see this as good because I do not like Pixar movies at all, I know thats not going to earn me any friends around here, but I think their incredibly overrated.

And as for Theme Park rides, The Hulk Coaster and Spiderman 3d are killer and Universal is more adult themed, I stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel, hit up Citiwalk at night for nightclubs and bars.

I don't see myself ever going back to Disney world or land ever. So rides don't thrill me, and they have SW already, if they were gonna build a whole new park, I think it would have been around SW not Marvel.

Its not the end of the world, most things will remain the same, as long as they stay the hell away from Marvel Studios movies its all good, but I can't see it as the great news some people here seem to. Its not like Marvel was struggling and needed a bailout.

If you think Disney is going to allow a comic, that they own, show a woman getting her nipples cut off and and then shooting herself in the head as she has sex (which happened in a MAX comic), you don't know Disney.

Exactly my point, things will be toned down, Max comics will not get reprints or Omnibuses in the future, but where will they draw the line? Its up to them. Disney not Marvel. Scary.

At anytime some CEO's wife could complain Emma Frost looks trashy and is a bad example for his 6 yr old daughter and next thing we know she's a muslim fudementalist that wears a berka.

But if they do something like that it'll at least be an entertaining news day, can you imagine fanboys dressed up like Wolverine and Spiderman burning down the Magic Kingdom. It'll be like a Metalocalypse episode.

I've heard that Disney has already cancelled the Wolverine comics and that they will be toning down Venom intensely. Start buying those back issues because they will be worth lots of money in the future.

Its amazing how little credit people give Disney.

Apparently you've never known anyone who's worked for Disney. They are rip-off artists. They steal ideas and call them their own. I personally know someone who worked for them and had created their own animated feature on their own time. Disney wasn't interested in their ideas initially, but then a few years later those same ideas appeared in a feature film. And this was waaay after they ripped off Lion King. Martin Goodman is rolling in his grave. People need to wake up.
