No I don't think we'll get an announcement, I think we'll see our first unveiling at SDCC.

To me announcing something is saying they're gonna do it, unveiling is showing something when it's done. Sideshow 'announced' the Disney license and I'm betting they will 'unveil' the first piece at SDCC.

What I meant to say is that the first will be unveild at SDCC, but used announced as in who the first will be.

Unless they announce who will be the first before SDCC and then unveil the PF at the Con.

Most likely it'll be one of the ? boxes for the SDCC event and pop up for order during that same week. So it'll be announced, unveiled and orderable all at the same time.

I wonder if The Art of Disney Stores will carry the PF's. They already get enough of my money.

I really hope we start to see (and be able to order) the first Disney PF at SDCC. Since even then it won't ship till end of the year, making it a full year from initial 'announcement' to first PF in-hand.

I think Jack is a shoe-in. It seems there has been alot of interest in the Rocketeer so I think that will be seen as well (if its part of the license, I don't think exactly what is and isn't in the license has been clarified yet).

They featured both Jack and the Rocketeer in the teaser video. So I think they have to be on the short list.

I think it's going to be Jack Sparrow. They really need to start with a bang. If it isn't Jack, I think it would have to be Maleficent from Snow White, being Disney's first animated feature and all that entails. No other characters make sense as a first release.
